Staff, facilities, breakfast outstanding. We really, really liked it. Just had one issue. website did not reflect that there was a $30 up charge because we had our dog. The motel actually has its own lovely dog. I’d already books the room online, so I took a deep breath and paid the extra $30 for a one-nights get stay.

website absolutely did not indicate that there was an extra $30 charge on our single-night stay because we had a dog. it simply said “pet-friendly”. This is not “friendly”. I’d have booked elsewhere if I’d have realized it, but I had booked ahead. It felt a little bit bait-and-switch.

Nice little motel in a central location. The room was spacious and clean and had a microwave and a fridge with freezer tray. No coffee maker though. Bathroom was clean and water pressure was good. Breakfast was in a small room with outdoor patio. Choices were maybe less than with some other hotels but served fresh by a nice lady. Other staff was very helpful and friendly too.

Pretty close to the train tracks, so if you are a light sleeper, not even the comfortable beds will help you sleep through the night. Stairs to second floor are a bit small and might be a problem with large bags since there is no elevator.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived late into the evening at Sun Set Inn and Suites. I am really picky especially when it comes to cleanliness of hotels. Our room was spotless. We had the two room suite. The room had a kitchen with the microwave and fridge with a few plates and bowls. The bed were so comfortable with plenty of pillows. We slept great. I am talking about 9 hours of sleep. The breakfast options were spectacular. They took our order and made us a hot fresh breakfast. We had eggs, bacon and pancakes. The bacon was some of the best bacon I have ever had. The staff was so friendly and attentive. If we are even in Wilcox again we will definitely be stopping by.

Arizona Sunset Inn is a comfortable motel a short drive into Willcox off I-10. The folks who run the motel are very helpful. On a previous trip I was able to enjoy the breakfast made-to-order which includes eggs, sausage or bacon, coffee, orange juice, milk, fresh fruit, pastries and more. I had to leave before breakfast on this trip, but to my delight, the person behind the front desk went to the kitchen to prepare muffins, milk, a banana and coffee to go. Wonderful! My first-floor room was quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The premises are well-maintained, and I have spotted an individual cleaning the parking lot and grounds on each visit. The parking spaces are ample, you can park in front of your room and the location seems safe. I have stayed at this motel three times, and I will return whenever I need to make another long journey from LA to Dallas.

Thus far, I have found no shortcomings with this motel.

The room we had was very spacious and exceptionally clean. Lenzie, the receptionist, is very pleasant. Paul, the chef is very accommodating. Breakfast...individually made, fresh and delicious 😋. We were an hour and a half away from the border in Douglas, minutes from several wineries, a stone-throw from several tasting rooms.

The pool was closed for renovation.

Amazing cook to order breakfast with attentive chef. Clean facilities, great customer service, comfortable beds, clean and well kept. Convenient location. Microwave and mini fridge in the room. We will return.

Security lights right outside the room make the room light at night. If you are sensitive to that, bring an eye mask. There was some noise from walking around in the unit above, so we wore ear plugs and it wasn't a problem.

Pretty much everything. The best thing was the very friendly breakfast staff. They actually cook the food for you, well the eggs at least but still, we didn't expect that kind of good service. Parking was plentiful and breakfast was great. The place looked nice, façade was old-school pretty, and the interior was nicely decorated.

We could hear the footsteps of the guest from the room upstairs, although I think it was partly because the guest had a very late check-in and the entire town was probably already asleep so everything was so quiet. it wasn't that bad after the guest settled in it was quiet again.

this was a great find. we stayed in the newer section and the room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, everything had been updated and well maintained. the bathroom was exceptionally clean. hotel staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful. breakfast was cooked to order by a friendly chef and made for a great start to the day. I’d stay here again anytime.

Breakfast cooked to order. Healthy selections. Room very clean (wood floors), all amenities needed. Substantial towels (not thin). No odors in the rooms. Nicely decorated. Outdoor space pleasant given the desert landscape of Wilcox.

Some confusion about the cost of pet visitors. Booking.com says $10.00. Front desk said $30.00, which is high. They charged me $10.00.

Loved the remodeled large king suite that was very clean. Staff was wonderful and the breakfast was great. The location was excellent, close to the downtown wine tasting rooms. Would highly recommend this motel in Willcox.

It would have been nice to have an end table or coffee table in the suite sitting room for our beverages.
