The Haywood El Dorado, Tapestry By Hilton Collection

The hotel is near the main street of El Dorado, which is a great little town. The people of the town including the hotel staff are very friendly. The hotel looks like it has to be the best one in town. I really liked how the hotel was decorated and the art work specifically.

But I was surprised that such a new hotel would be as dirty as it was. It wasn’t disgusting dirty but the carpet needed some shampoo badly and you could tell the elevators hadn’t been cleaned inside for quite some time. It was a shame. The hot breakfast option was a jimmy dean sandwich that you yourself would have to heat up in the microwave. I bought some snacks and Red Bull from the front area. The Red Bull cans were dirty. They had some yellow gunk all around the base and I hadn’t noticed it. Also one of the cans was half empty even though the can was closed. It was as if the can had some how oozed out the Red Bull.

The bed frame appeared to have dried blood on it (we just covered it and avoided coming in contact with it; the hotel was out of hand soap (was informed that none of the rooms had hand soap); the shower gel was empty at check-in (had to go request new bottle)

Everyone's customer service was great. The pool area was great. The deepest it goes to is 3ft 9 in. It is really modern. They use Crabtree & Evelyn bath products. The TV was of great quality.

A tube of lip balm was left in our room from the last stay. Booking.com says they have a fitness center and room service. They have neither. They use a duvet and some sheets on the bed. You may want to bring an extra blanket.

The staff was super friendly. Even housekeeping, was friendly by making sure our stay was a great one. On Saturday evening, there was a young man working the front desk and a young lady working the bar. They both, were busy doing something, the entire evening from checking in people to sanitizing and wiping things down. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is AMAZING! It is walking distance to pretty much everything downtown. All the staff was super nice and the room was beautiful and clean.

The only downside is the breakfast options were a little lacking.

The Haywood staff was kind, gracious, and so very accommodating. The rooms were clean, the coffee served with breakfast good. We loved sitting outside in the courtyard to visit with friends and family. Thank you for helping to make a weekend visit even more enjoyable.

I was a little disappointed. There was no orange Juice. The breakfast sandwiches were a great Idea.

You have a great facility, but I was very disappointed that your facility does not offer a business center. I forgot my laptop. It will not take much to add a business center for business customers

great location. within walking distance to the entire downtown area. very clean and updated. beds were comfortable. will definitely stay here again!

The decor.

I have no other complaints except the fact that there was smeared feces on the toilet in my bathroom and cups behind the pullout sofa in the room. So I think they definitely need to clean better. Also, they recommend/require for you to wear a mask in the hotel but non of the cleaning staff was wearing a mask.
