Village Inn of Hardy

The woman at reception was fantastic and everything about the motel was excellent. It was the best motel on our recent trip. When the refrigerator didn't have a freezer, she changed our room to one that had a freezer with the refrigerator. The room was spacious, clean, and wonderful. The free breakfast the next morning was fantastic with cheese omelets, sausage and biscuits.

We liked everything about this motel. Everything was perfect. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

Location is good only a 20 min drive to granddaughters. Limited choice of restaurants but good.

This was our 3rd stay at Village Inn. We had room 208 and the bed was horrible. Had no firmness to it and every time you rolled the mattress pad and fitted sheet came undone. The tub also filled with water if all you wanted was a shower. Just getting water temperature right would put water tub before starting shower and it drained slowly.

Given the expectation of the town/motel options, we really enjoyed our stay. It is an older motel, but very well kept. The front desk operator (I believe is the owner) was extremely friendly and helpful. Due to COVID they are still taking precautions with social distancing and offered breakfast type amenities to be taken up to the room after our check in, because the lobby is closed in the morning. Our stay was very short, but if we make this trip next year, we will be more than happy to stay here.

Cosmetic updates: The paint could use a refresh, the carpets could be updated. Everything seemed very clean, just needs updated

The convenience of access to the room. The facility is old but comfortable and clean. The staff is very helpful. The room had all of the appropriate furnishings. Everything worked.

They were minor things in the room that could use maintenance such as the cover plate on the electrical outlet by the bed. Breakfast was not really breakfast, at least not what we expected. Breakfast was limited to pre-packaged pastries

the pillows where horrible and when I got there I had a dog so at first they told me I was gonna have to get a room for $85 a night instead of my “unless I wanted to go to a smoking room so I took the smoking room 220 and they still charged me $85 a night that’s not the price I was quoted through booking I was OK with the extra $15 a night for the dog! Also the showerhead arm that comes out the wall I had a big hole around it.

Easy access in and out. Extremely helpful staff/owners. Very accommodating to us when we ended up stranded in Ash Flat in the middle of the night. It was quiet, comfortable, and welcoming.

There was nothing I didn't like. It's a very affordable room in a very tiny town without a lot of other options

The staff was pleasant rooms were clean and spacious NO BUGS. They have conjoined rooms which is perfect for traveling with a family.

Nothing within walking distance and no pool.

Everything was good, but the kids were disappointed because the television didn’t work.

We did not eat breakfast, but the coffee was good. The clerks were SUPER helpful.

Needs to be updated and repainted but was very comfortable.

Friendly accommodation for us and small dogs. Older place but clean and well maintained. Just what we needed after a rough day of travel.
