Affordable and close to town. The beds were super comfy and the blankets kept us warm since the cabin is not insulated. My family and I stayed here on our way home, after a long road trip. We arrived late, after nine, and left, before nine in the morning. It served its purpose, cozy bed to sleep in. I wouldn’t stay here again, especially if I were needing to stay more than one night.

Cabins are old and rustic. There was a giant hole in our wall that we had to plug up with a washcloth. Walls are paper thin. You share a wall with the cabin next door. I could hear them peeing and blowing their nose. Cabin is tiny and very cold. We stayed in July and still woke up cold. Absolutely no insulation! We could see the ground below us through the slats on the floor we walked on. This is a great place to stay if you’re on a budget, or just need a place to stay briefly for one night. Cabins were right next to the campground. Campers were very noisy until about 11pm

I was delighted with my little bungalow. It more than met my needs. The bed and bedding were wonderful. I don't know when I've slept so well. I love the arrangement of housing and beach; I'm hoping to rent the lodge for my kids and grandkids. I can see my grandkids happily moving from lodge to beach and back as they need to. The safety and friendliness of the staff and other guests make the facility feel very safe.

I couldn't lock the dead bolt. While I generally trust people, I would prefer to be able to lock the door more securely when I'm leaving my computer.

I like the proximity to redwoods ( 5 minute drive)but also to so many beaches along the sonoma coast area.all within a 10-15 drive. Bodega Bay is only about 20- 30 minute drive. I liked the camp ground. The cabin was perfect for our needs. I really enjoyed the balcony. The kitchenette was functional and very cute. I liked to be able to walk to town, but be aware homeless population is evident .

I think the cabin could be cleaned better.. at first glance all is well. Kitchen area was cleaned but then as you go to cook there are cob webs in the corner with a spider as in the bathroom above the shower. Doors needed cleaned.,but the bed was clean and comfortable. And all in all for a cabin was not overly upset. The important areas were okay.....toilet,sinks,shower,bed

The location was perfect for getting around Guerneville. We were right in town, but also right at the river. Our cabin really had everything we needed – – a nice bathroom and shower, comfortable bed with clean sheets and comforter, and acute little kitchenette. And a brand new community bathroom right next-door.

A little coffee maker or blow dryer it would have been nice, but that was definitely not necessary.

I absolutely loved staying in a cabin here (I stayed in a Queen sized room). My stay was absolutely charming. There is something magical about these 1920s cabins. Whether you prefer staying in a furnished room or having an authentic camping experience, these cabin rooms hit the sweet spot right in between. Additionally, you are surrounded by nature yet are a one-minute walk to the Main Street and everything it has. And the staff is responsive and outstanding.

Chris was very nice and friendly welcoming us. The location is perfect, quiet near the river. The cabin was clean, the beds were very comfortable

The night was very cold, and there was no heating option at all in the cabin. We had to sleep with hoodies and socks on to keep warm although the blanket was nice and thick, but not enough. Also the water took in the evening and morning about 10 minutes to warm up.

Friendly staff, wonderful location next to Johnson's Beach. Incredibly comfortable bed & pillows.

It could have been me, but I couldn't get hot water in the shower. Otherwise, I loved the place and would happily return in the future.

Another wonderful stay at Johnson's Beach Cabins. It's my favourite place on Russian River. The cabin had everything that I needed. Really comfortable bed and pillows, lots of fresh towels and hot water in the bathroom. Chris the host, is very welcoming and friendly. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Johnson's !

The cabin was so adorable, it was rustic, over 100 years old but everything was very functional. The shower was great, location was fantastic, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Great location right on the river.

It was a little expensive but for a last minute single night booking on Father's Day weekend it should be considered reasonable. The parking spot under the cabin was nearly too small to park my truck in, but it was built 100 years ago when model T's were being parked there, so I can't be upset it won't fit a full sized pickup.

The bougie touches : comfy bed, soaps and shampoos, new towels, clean whites, kitchenette. Resident mngr super responsive and very pleasant. Beautiful hideaway feel, right in town.

The room needs a large mat rug for colder nights. Written instruction from the induction stove website is super helpful and easy to follow. Should be in the room.
