Royal Century Hotel at LAX

It was WAY more comfortable than people made it out to be, honestly. And the area is not bad at all, I was very surprised by that after I read some comments here. If you’re coming from a big city like me you won’t even bat an eye lol. And the staff were nice enough, not there to be besties with randos but getting the job done which is what matters most. The location was also GREAT, within walking distance from SoFi Stadium which helped loads when everyone was trying (and failing) to get Ubers.

The hotel honestly exceeded my expectations, the reviews online didn't do it any justice. It's not a five star hotel but it was good enough for me. The price was good considering the time I booked it for; most hotels in the area were doubling their prices because of the BTS concert but I was able to book this hotel for a decent price about a week before my trip. I ended up in a ground floor room which was perfect for me because I did a lot of walking on this trip. I had two beds even though I only needed one, they're extremely squeaky but not uncomfortable. There was a mini fridge in the room which was convenient, the room doesn't have a microwave but there is one in the lobby area if you need one. I went to LA for a concert at SoFi stadium and the hotel location was perfect - it was not too far from the airport and it was about a half hour walk from the stadium back to the hotel, which I did twice. My Lyft rides were under $10 most times (for SoFi stadium and The Forum), they would peak at $13 depending on the time of day. The WiFi was also pretty good 99% of the time, there were a few bad breaks but nothing too detrimental. The bathroom was well stocked with towels, for my 5 night stay I had enough for a family of 4! The staff was nice enough, very polite and always greeted me with a smile. There was one lady who kept asking me what I was doing there every time I walked in which was weird to me but I suppose they're not going to memorise every guest's face.

The room only had a light at the entrance and a few lamps in the room itself which was a little inconvenient because I couldn't get any of them to turn on but I was able to work around it.

It was great for the price it was clean the service was very nice help me check in easy and fast for are family of 6 also has if we was hungry literally had just a few steps away from a Conner store and food plaza plus fast food restaurant I have no complaints would come again if we was in the area. Plus beautiful pool and ever close to the beach

The staffs are friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is near LAX, the ride will take about 5 mins but the taxi driver or uber will charge you 25 to 30 bucks. however that is your only option. There are lots of shops in the vicinity and shall satisfy your immediate requirement. Hawthorne station is nearby and hence overnight stay in this hotel is good if you are arriving late or travelling early to LAX to catch a flight. Further its easy to order a yellow taxi there. Price to value is excellent

Furniture is dated and wifi is connectivity can be a problem

I stayed there with my other two brothers and loved that we each got our own bed for the price that we got it for. The room was also big, which is a plus! I also liked the convenience it had to the SoFi stadium and other food places.

I didn’t like that we were given a key to a room that was still, at the time, occupied. It was a bit traumatizing for me when I swiped the key and opened the door to find out that there were people still in the room that was given to us. Granted, we were given a different room shortly after, but I think we should’ve been compensated for the inconvenience.

The property is clean. It is an Older structure and the furnishing are not modern. I liked the patio terrace with sliding glass that seems to be on most of the rooms. I put the do not disturb and enjoyed my bother free stay. There is very limited parking; so you may want to have a back up plan just in case. There is a Burger King next door, Pizza Hut and Piarra pizza are across the street from a CVS. With LAX and the new Coliseum almost within walking distance, you can’t go wrong. Don’t forget the disinfectant spray.

The room Rooms on the back side are subject to barking dogs. Not bad with the sliding glass door closed.

Location very good, many foods nearby (walking distance) n near to airport, room spacious, staff very friendly, heater/AC, water heater, fridge, ice cube machine works well. Bathroom n towel clean.

Can't let check out( must 11am sharp), wish could be late check out (12 or 1pm).

Bed was comfortable. Very close to quite a few stores as well as a bus stop

Wifi connection wasn't so great. If i wanted a better connection i would need to be next to the room door. Fridge smelled. Needs a little more lighting in the room

Excellent service. Housekeeper is excellent and we were very well taken care of during our stay. Cars are well cared for in covered parking and I will definitely be coming back when I'm in town.

The property is close to stores, restaurants, airport and public transportation. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious.

The ice machine didn’t work the entire stay. Employees were notified but nothing changed.
