room size, cleanliness, in-room amenities (coffee/tea machine, fridge, microwave), property felt very safe as did the room, location was good (and surprisingly quiet), walking distance to Target, multiple restaurants (thai town). Walk of fame and downtown hollywood are about 15mins walking from the property. Lacey was super friendly.

check out time is at 11am (which is standard) but if folks are to check out at that time, there should be someone at reception from say 9.30-11.00. I tried to check out at around 10am and there was a sign saying 'back in 30 mins' which isn't great, especially since i had to catch a flight and L.A. traffic is terrrrible so every minute really counts and there was no way to contact the receptionist. The cleaning staff was a helpful as they could be in the situation, which i greatly appreciated.

The place is very cozy and the staff super friendly, they did our accommodation pleasant, we were very close to everything specialty to freeways that take you everywhere in LA, in front of the hotel there is a convenience store so if you feel thirsty or hungry you can gran snacks or beverages. To go to walk of fame in hollywood, take us a few blocks walking or by bus paying $1.75. The best part of it was that the room was big enough to put all our tuff and purchases. Absolutely nice place. They ha e parking inside and closed if you rent a car, just have to pay $10 bucks for all the days of your stay, which was very cheap.

The location was mostly great, as you are right on Hollywood Boulevard. If you walk towards the west to check the walk of fame, I advise you to take a bus or a Uber as it goes through many "campers" on the street until you reach the Chinese theatre for example. The room was big and had many closets, bathroom was good too. We didn't try the pool but it was available in the daytime, and there was no breakfast.

The noise was the main issue. The hotel cannot prevent the noise from the street so it would be useless to change my rating for that. However, the windows glass was so thin and at some point it was just not glass at all but wide open without possibility to change that by yourself. Same can be say about your noisy upstairs neighbours, you will hear them as if they were in your room. We had a very difficult time to find sleep, and stay asleep. I would advise you to stay here if you'll be partying or be active in the evening / night, if you just want to rest and wake up early fresh and well rested, look somewhere else.

Despite its somewhat dated exterior, the interior of the hotel was remarkably clean and well-maintained. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The hotel's location is undeniably at the heart of Hollywood, making it incredibly convenient for accessing all major attractions and dining options. Despite having a car at our disposal, we often chose to walk to nearby restaurants for our meals due to the close proximity. While we did encounter some homeless individuals in the area, they did not pose any issues or disturbances, and we felt completely safe, even when walking around at 11 p.m. We would eagerly choose to stay at this hotel again in the future, as it offers great value for the price paid.

There are a few bad reviews from people who think that they can book the equivalent of the mandarin oriental on a budget, and live in the illusion that Hollywood is a quiet place. It isn’t. Anywhere. I slept very well, and this place isn’t particularly noisy. Nothing is wrong with the towels, everything works. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

Great stores around there’s a big Target down the street and 1 station away from the Hollywood Walk of fame where you can find some fast-foods/restaurants the staff was friendly and helpful. The pool looked clean but we didn’t used it.

There’s quite a lot of homeless people around so it doesn’t feel that safe at night but we didn’t have any problem at all, just try to not wander around at night if you don’t have a car. A few nights where really noisy due to some people that where staying at the tables outside next to our room but it’s not the hotel fault.

You get what you can expect for this rate. And that was more than ok. + Location matters: great place to explore Hollywood and surrounding areas (it took me a 30 min run to Griffith Observatory) + Friendly and helpful staff. + Safe parking for $10 per night + rooms in the back are quieter + WiFi was good

Don't expect a 4* resort, but a good place for a valueable price.

It's in such a fantastic location as far as getting to public transport and buying food, etc. The rooms are really clean and the staff are so nice!

The shower pressure isn't great but still good enough. You also don't really want to go off the main roads as there are a lot of homeless people that aren't all there (if you know what I mean). If it weren't for those things, I'd have rated 10.

It’s a clean motel with a lot of character and great value. The location was ideal for my needs; close to the Hollywood/Western Metro station and close to my destination for this trip— a friend’s house in Hollywood Hills near Griffith Observatory.

I arrived about an hour before the 3 pm check-in time and found reception was locked with no one there. They really mean it about check-in starting at 3 pm.
