Location was perfect for what I needed. It had a safe locked garage for my car (which had gear in it). The room was fun, simple but had plenty of table tops to charge a lot of batteries and cameras.

Check in was difficult. Granted, I checked in at midnight, but when I rang the bell, no one answered. A guest walked by and let me in. I went to the front desk and didn't see anyone. I waited for maybe 15 minutes until someone came up. They were making rounds and were in the garage. I got checked in and then it was a great stay from then on.

Staff were super helpful, funny and down to earth. (special shout out to the cool chick with brown bobbed hair sorry i didn’t get your name!) Rooms were functional, very spacious and super tastefully decorated. The pool was lovely for a swim in morning (but got overcrowded during the day so go early) Location was great and close to shops and a quick drive to points of interest. Boutique style hôtel, felt small and intimate. we extended our stay and also returned after a trip out of town and it felt like coming home ☺️ 100% would stay again and recommend to others.

Not deal breakers but a few things that bugged me was the (long) distance of the loo roll from the toilet (in both rooms we have stayed in) and the automatic light in bathroom, was fine during day but not the best if going to loo in middle of night, as it was so bright it would wake both of us up. Everything else in the rooms felt so considered that it was odd this was not. The cafe had a great American breakfast the first time we ate there then they completely changed the menu and removed the best things and made it quite confusing to read or know what was included in a dish.😅 We only went there for coffee after that but if they had a basic breakfast would have eaten there everyday. it seemed they made the new menu more kitchen friendly rather than customer friendly.

Great location , and ambiance. Pool and patio areas were a very charming oasis from the streets Size of the room and bathroom were amazing . Also loved the mid century modern design of the room

Personally as an older person I would like to see a shower safety bar and some hooks for towels closer to the shower area. Easy to slip in the type of tile in the shower.

Very clean, relaxed, well-designed, and well-run hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and was very glad to have chosen this for a few nights in LA! Spacious rooms, Diptyque amenities, peace and quiet. Great location - very close to the junction of Santa Monica Blvd and Sunset Blvd where there are many good cafes and places to eat. Right next to Silver Lake Pool & Inn there’s also an Erehwon grocery open early until 10pm and a clinic right beside.

Where do I start? As a long time resident of the area and current ex-Angeleno, I have seen many changes take place in Silver lake, some great, some… well, unexpected. I can remember the drab apartment building this hotel used to be, and to say Palisociety have done excellent work in transforming it into a world class hotel would be a gross understatement. The property is now beautiful, thoughtfully designed and appointed. Then there’s the staff, everyone was super kind and the experience felt high quality without the element of snobbery. This is key and something not many hotels are able to easily achieve. The jumpsuits kind of look LA county jail, however… I might have chosen a different color? Lol. Seriously though, I was hesitant to book here because I thought, is it worth it to be all the way out in Silver Lake for a week? The answer was yes, though. That’s where all the best restaurants are (or near), that’s where all my friends are, and you can walk to everything! For me, Silver Lake is where the heart is. So if you have a connection to the area and are debating between this property and another, don’t hesitate to book here. You’ll be glad you did.

We stayed here for the last three nights on our 15 day trip from Scotland. It was a great location and only a short walk to Santa Monica Boulevard with it's quirky shops, cafés and restaurants. The pool area was lovely to relax around with a good view of the hills, Griffith Observatory and park which is only 11 minutes away by car. Also, we liked our room, the interior design and our ensuite bathroom. We ate in the restaurant twice which was open to one side but had patio heaters ( actually needed these as it was cold in the evenings). Staff were lovely and responded quickly to any queries. We would love to go back if we come to LA again.

Just a minor point, there wasn't a covered walkway between the hotel and their restaurant/bar so you had to go outside. Unfortunately, it rained when we were there but umbrellas were provided at reception. A better selection of tea/coffee in your bedroom in fact, I don't think we had any tea or milk.

This has been my favorite place to stay when I travel to LA for work. I starting coming here for work in summer 2020 and this has been my top choice of stays since. The staff is absolutely amazing, the rooms are well decorated and have the comfiest beds, the restaurant and pool are so nice, and it's right next to the Erewhon, so I can walk and get hot food and all the drinks. I love staying in Silverlake and I am so happy that this place exists!

My only con is how much the cost as gone up, but tbh I did expect that coming out of the pandemic. Makes it hard to fit in my work budget!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Silverlake Pool & Inn. The Hotel is very boutique, not a large facility, but we had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Our room was cozy, clean and the bed was very comfortable bed. The location is great, lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance and a quick drive to DTLA. The pool area and bar are great! We will be back.

We loved our say at Silver Lake Pool & Inn. The room we got was really big, beautifully decorated and had an amazing view with gorgeous sunset everynight.

They reserved some money on our credit card, and could not really tell us what the sum stood for - but it actually never got debited, so we're good.

We loved this hotel. The design and interiors are great. Our room was big, clean and comfortable. The pool was great vibes during the day and the bar was also great.

The rooms need to have more coat hangers. 3 coat hangers for 2 female guests is not enough! We requested an iron to be bought to the room and the iron and iron board we received was really low quality… please consider a higher quality iron for guests use.
