Sonesta Silicon Valley

This had been one of my best hotel stays in recent memory. The staff was beyond professional, not matching with the room rate at all. They even had a champagne from my favorite winery in St. Helena. The room was phenomenal; the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept on at a hotel. The furniture was plentiful and extremely modern. I greatly appreciated the chromecast feature on the TV and the table to write at. My friend traveling with me appreciated the comfortable chair and lamp to read at. The gym was enjoyable and extremely clean. The grounds were also very nice; I read my book by the fire lamp and enjoyed the crisp weather. I honestly do not have business in Milpitas, this was a resting point for us en route to Santa Cruz. However, We stayed on the property from our check in at 4 ‘till noon because it was just so comfortable and relaxing. I will be staying at this property next I am in SFO, disregarding the fact it is 30 minutes south of where I typically stay.

The rooms very really clean and quiet enough and everything was really new, beds were comfy, WIFI was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is no room service during your stay unless you specifically ask for it. The pool and hot tub seemed nice, not sure how clean they were. The breakfast options were good (you could also sit outside), the food was nice but I really disliked the coffee. Breakfast was a bit expensive compared to what was offered. In the end, I had breakfast there only once and went out the other days. I can absolutely recommend the hotel if you're looking for a nice place to stay but would probably skip breakfast.

It's virtually impossible to get to/from the hotel without a car.

I was greeted with a smile from Sara as I approached the front desk. I told her about my not so good experience with my room at the other Sonesta Hotel in Milpitas. Sara immediately apologized and told me to please let them know if I have any issues. I loved this property and the environment. It's very convenient, just off the freeway exit.

There is no microwave in the room. Going to the hallway near the ice cooler to use the microwave sliding off the table, it's not cool at all .

The room was amazing! It looked like a mid-century modern apartment. The bed was huge and comfy and there were cordless cell phone chargers built into the nightstands. So cool! I also liked the bench at the end of the bed. There is a Chevron station across the intersection at the light and the airport was less than 10 minutes away. It was perfect for an early morning flight.

I wish the restaurant was open later. I arrived late in the evening, there was barely any parking as there was 10-12 tour buses in the parking lot. I found a parking space near the entrance and didn't want to leave and get food and loose the space.

WOW!! We booked this hotel the day before and were lucky they had available rooms AND at a reasonable price. Sometimes pictures look better than the actual hotel, but Sonesta is one of those places where what you see is what you get. We were very impressed with the hotel. Staff was friendly, rooms were new and clean, entire place seemed very well maintained.

Saw somewhere parking is $15 but they didn't charge us. If I had to pay for parking I wouldn't have liked it as much lol

I very much enjoyed my stay at Sonesta. The room that we booked was spacious, clean, and tidy with plenty of space for item/personal belonging storage. The bed was extremely comfortable also and for the most part, it was very quiet with little to no disruptions during late night and our privacy was definitely retained. Overall, all of our expectations were well exceeded!

We would've appreciated a larger fridge as the small size made it difficult to store more perishable items. Sometimes, the thermostat temperature fluctuated and it would make the room either very cold or very warm. However, these are only small nitpicks - everything else was 5 stars!

Front desk was friendly and helpful. I had two dogs with me and they gave free gifts (ball,handkerchief,portable water bowl) which was really nice even though the ball and handkerchief were too big for my tiny dogs. The hotel is up to date, modern but comfortable. The room was very spacious, nicely furnished and CLEAN. Bathroom was also very clean and bright which was nice. The beds were on the softer side so if you’ve got a bad back like myself, it may not suit you. My mom had no complaints. The swimming pool and hot tub were great! For the price it’s a bummer that breakfast isn’t included but maybe I’m asking for too much lol. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

No complaints, everything was great!

The room is comfortable, clean and well laid out. The staff was able to change my room location because my neighbor who was having a bad day was constantly yelling at some unfortunate soul over the phone. The hotel staff could hear the crazy neighbor loud and clear while calling down on speakerphone to inquire about the possiblity of a different room far away from my first room assignment. The suite they moved me to had a heavy rolling door to separate the bedroom from the bathroom and living room.

The entrance doors to the rooms are a little thin so hallway noise is fairly audible even when guests walking down hallways are talking softly.

It is beautiful, the room, the hotel, the restaurant, everything. The restaurant menu does not have much variety, but what they do have they do well. The breakfast buffer is noce, but a little hit pricey at $25 per person. The convenience is worth it though and they make sure to keep everything well atocked the entire time. I like the fact that there is a dispenser for shampoo, conditioner and body wash instead of the little bottles that are never enough. Bring bubble bath for the nice tub. The store is open late and has a pretty good variety of things you may need. The staff is nice and the price is very good for the area. It is well worth it.

It was clean! I saw people were complainong it is too far to the restaurants but we found nice places for brunch within 8 -10 min drive. Plenty of restaurants ( persian, georgian, thai … etc) to choose from, 15-20 min drive was not an issue :)

Staff was amazing!!! It is a pitty I do not remember the name of the receptionist during our check-in but she was so nice!! Big Thank you! and Thank you for the Erick in the reception! Big applause for the Elleni❤️🌺she is the soul of the restaurant! every guest feels welcome❤️
