The room itself was cozy. Mattress and bedding were comfortable. Mini fridge in the room and bottled water much appreciated. The tub was nice and deep. Over all I was very comfortable in the bedroom. The wild life around the property is also really a highlight of this space. We saw a family of about 20 quail just taking a stroll.

There are no lights when you are going up the stairs to get inside the house, safety wise this was concerning. The pool was not inviting as it has not been cleaned, it had huge bugs and lots of leaves in it. No kitchen access allowed to even make a pot of coffee so while waiting for the caretaker to get up and make some I tried to make a k cup coffee but there was only decaf and so we opted to check out early and skip out on breakfast (we didn’t find out until arriving that breakfast is vegetarian only so that was also disappointing and all the more reason to leave early)

Excellent location for a stay over to or from Yosemite. Great homemade breakfast with fresh omelet and blueberry pancakes. Great view from the quadruple room (the Garden Rose). Nice and clean pool and pool area. Nice little terrace with a table and two chairs outside the Country Rose. Good recommendation by the host to visit nearby Bass Lake for evening drinks and dinner.

The double room Country Rose is small and cramped, with the double bed sideways to the wall. The beds and furniture are a bit jaded. The type of noisy and sub-optimal mobile A/C.

We stayed 2 nights a this bed and breakfast. The location is very good, only 20mins from Yosemite entrance! Our host was very nice and caring. He gave us a nice breakfast to take with us the first morning as we wanted to see the sunrise in Yosemite :) We also had the opportunity to chat with him on the house's balcony in the evening with a glass of Californian wine! Second day we took the time to enjoy his homemade and delicious breakfast! He really seeks to make his visitors happy! Thank you very much to him!

The location is wonderful super quiet, it is very close to the Yosemite park (20 min drive) We met Eric, he is the nicest. He cooked a wonderful breakfast and was always ready to help Pool is clean and big We think it's perfect

Our room was not very big, but it had everything you need. There are also other rooms which I think are bigger. If we will ever go back, I would ask the bigger room if I stayed more than 2 nights

A great property that’s in a good spot, great staff and service. The breakfast is quality and appreciated the amazing coffee in the morning. The drive into Yosemite can be a bit taxing over a few days, especially if doing half dome but would highly recommend.

They did forget to arrange the gluten free food and the pool was looking dirty so we didn’t swim.

Excellent setting and very accessible location. Comfortable with stated amenities. Clean and well stocked.

The WiFi router posted was incorrect and an alternate router was successfully selected only the following morning using the same password. If guests are not familiar with using Dish TV, use of the remote is not self-explanatory so a step-by-step activation instruction sheet would be helpful. Also, no meat was on the menu for breakfast, leaving those unable to eat eggs still hungry.

I had a special reason for this trip, it was my birthday. And I was surprised at breakfast with a birthday cake! What a thoughtful, generous gift! And I put the leftovers in my room refrigerator to enjoy the next day too! The room was comfortable and cozy, the living room and deck of the house were great. In warmer weather I would love to come back and use the outdoor pool and the deck. I appreciated the way that each guest had a nice note of welcome when they arrived. The breakfasts were great, a good mix of items. I asked for a sack lunch for my first day as I was off to Yosemite early. The amount of yummy food was enough for breakfast and lunch! It was one of the most comfortable beds ever. I didnt want to leave.

To go in and out of the house, there are stairs. It wasnt a problem really. Its the only thing I can think of that was not great.

Absolutely stunning location, basically in the middle of the forest with incredible views and quietness, and yet, only 10 minutes drive from Oakhurst with good variety of restaurants (if needed) and only 11 miles from Mariposa Grove entry to Yosemite park. My room was very big and offered panoramic views and the bed was very comfortable. The stuff was very helpful and attentive, they were very kind to accommodate my to-go early morning breakfast request that I only thought of late at night. To-go breakfast was quite big and helped while hiking: yogurts, bananas, big muffins. One thing I also liked was plenty of bottled water in the room. There is also coffee/hot water stand in common area. Highly recommended B&B! PS. If you stay there, try The Elderberry House restaurant in Oakhurst (as I said, 10 minutes drive), totally another highlight to reward yourself for a good hike.

Nothing at all, everything was great.

This was the PERFECT staying at YOSEMITE. I could not ask for more. I was very surprised with the comfort, cleanliness, and all the details that the owners took care to make sure our staying was the best possible. Great homemade breakfast American style, with berries, pancakes, omelets, etc. The house is amazing, a beautiful wooden house by the mountains, I want to stay there again and longer! The owners are very friendly, a cute elder couple, welcoming and well humored.

It was winter and it was cold and there was snow and ice on the surfaces, it looked cute, but I didn't have a chance to enter the swimming pool because it was too cold. I will have to stay there again in the Summer!

Beautiful facility and very friendly staff! If you're arriving at night, make sure to give them a call and ask the exact address of the house you're staying in. Overall, I would give it 5/5 stars!

The only downside was that it's a bit far from where all of the actual hikes are in Yosemite. I ended up driving over an hour to reach specific destinations of the hikes I wanted to do.
