Quality Inn & Suites

Hotel was nice and comfortable, desk guy was very nice and knowledgeable of the area.

Not a detractor but this is the STRANGEST setup for a hotel I have ever seen. So you walk in to a room the size of a small football stadium, nope not kidding. Desk is about 45 feet to your right. there is a LARGE pool over in the corner of the stadium room and is very nice. So I am told to bypass the first hallway even tho my room is actually on that hall because it is deadlocked(welded) shut. GO to the second hallway. I did and sure enough I have two doors to my room with one being welded shut. There is like a motel window overlooking . . . . the first hallway 😂 But hey room was VERY Comfortable and hotel was a little dated but nice. Just wanted you to know LOL

The bed was very comfortable! The indoor pool was very clean and warm! the hot tub was clean and very relaxing! The breakfast had variety with some staples that were there daily. We could always find something we liked!

The only thing I didn’t like was during our stay the property was under construction. This was a very minimal inconvenience. Plus I know during my next visit to the area that it will have new updates! I look forward to seeing how those trim out!

The Suite that sleeps six was so helpful for our family since we had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay and a small "home away from home." This saves us a quite a bit of money since we can "cook" a little bit in our room. Every time we stay we find one more little nicety that makes our trip better. This time we discovered a toaster and can opener. That may not be a big deal to some, but when you have three kids you don't always want to be eating out all the time and kitchen amenities such as these make it possible to have alternatives to dining out. Dishes, microwave, and full size fridge are things we rely heavily on for our stay and they can only be found at this location. We can even do our laundry. Our kids love the pool and the fact that it's open year round is a real treat. Craig does not have many hotels but this one chooses to exceed standards even if they don't have much to compete with in town. That says a lot about a place and we look forward to staying here again in the future. Excellent staff. Everyone friendly and helpful.

Our suite was clean and spacious and included a sofa bed, full fridge, large table, and several chairs—which was awesome for our family of 6!The pool and hot tub were a comfortable temperature and very much enjoyed by our kids. The breakfast was better than most—my daughter and I couldn’t get enough of the potatoes! The guy in charge of breakfast was super personable too. The place was quiet and the beds were comfortable too.

The only things I didn’t like were: 1) The heater fan was a bit noisy and I don’t think it had the option of just leaving the fan on constantly with the heat just kicking in when necessary. Maybe it was just operator error.? 2) There was cigarette smoke coming into our bathroom through the vent, I guess, because it didn’t smell bad when we first got there. As time went on though, it began to reek and was making the whole place stink. We left the bathroom door closed, which helped, but I could still smell smoke on my overnight case a couple days later. Probably not the hotel’s fault—maybe someone was smoking where they shouldn’t have been.

The actual pool itself is nice and the staff were very pleasant

There was a conference while we were there that did not allow us to use the pool all Saturday night. We booked the hotel because of the swimming pool. They should have let us know we would not be able to swim during the event, this might have deterred us to another hotel. All we wanted to do was swim.

It was comfortable and large suite. Room for us to just spread out and relax.

The fridge didn't work, booked a month in advance and they sent somebody halfway through my stay to do maintenance while we were in the room. Why didn't they put us in another room with working fridge? No clue.

It was clean and I really liked that the bedroom was a separate room from the living room area. Showerhead had good water pressure. Room was fairly quiet, stayed pretty dark and AC worked wonderfully. Staff was very friendly. Also appreciated that we could leave without going to the front desk to checkout - everything was already taken care of and receipt slipped under the door. 🤗

The pullout couch bed was very uncomfortable as the mattress was very thin and you could feel the springs pressing against you. Couldn’t get one of the remotes to work on the bedroom TV. Would have been great if the beds were queen-sized instead of a double. Breakfast (hot portion) was pretty bad… 😜

Room

I paid Booking.com for 5 nights and received only 3 nights and then paid for the other 2 while there. I'm not sure who ended up with the extra $200+ . Not happy with Booking.com or Quality Inn. Done with both.

when i booked the room everything went smooth. When i got to the hotel i was told that they dont rent to locals. I was having problems with my heater and when i explained my self to the lady that checked me in, she was more then helpful. she was friendly and explained everything perfectly.

the price

Suite met all of our needs. Pool was wonderful. Loved having a full size fridge. Saved money on having a decent breakfast. Kids were very happy!

Ice machines were too far away. Breakfast was good but closed too early. Breakfast should end at 10:30 not 9:00. Had to bring food back for my other child and husband because it closed so early. Ice tray was not useful in freezer. All the ice melded together and couldn't get any out the next day
