Days Inn by Wyndham Lamar

Location was good. Easy to find and parking good. Breakfast was good for what we paid. Very reasonable just enough. Bed was very comfortable room was quiet and clean/modern. I was impressed with Bible and Bagadvitah available to read. Nice to have free cable T V. Door Dash delivery was excellent.

No elevator. Hot water shower was lukewarm and small pressure. Drainage out tub non existant. A pen and paper in room would be nice.

The price and the cleanliness. Always nice to have coffee in the room when we first wake. I also liked that we were on the first floor.

The breakfast was almost all sugar or carbs. We saw the back of a Holiday Inn for a view from our window. I didn't care for the plank flooring. I prefer carpet. It is more comfortable and warmer. Can't have it all.

We stay here every year when we take an annual fishing trip to John Martin reservoir. It is right on the edge of town and has a large lot in back for trailers, boats etc. There is a lot of construction going on in town and I would assume that most of the hotels are filled with construction workers to capacity so it was a little noisy, but that is to be expected. All in all, it is our favorite place to stay in Lamar.

As with most places the pandemic has taken it's toll on staffing and facilities. The hotel was not quit as neat and clean as it has been in the past, but the rooms were just fine. The lot needs some work, but once again there was a lot of traffic and a lot of people.

property was clean and nicely remodeled. the downside was the walls were so thin you couldn’t hear the tv next door, the people talking, snoring and kids loud in the hall. This made for a sleepless night.

thin walls that let tv, voices and noises be heard into our room. not conducive to sleep.

The room was excellent.

Train your staff to greet with a smile. Give them all of the guests information ie. If they have a pet. Tell the guest there's an additional charge. Don't use false advertising if you say free breakfast, do it! I understand covid, but other Wyndhams have had a breakfast in a bag. The rewards system sucks, because we stay at Wyndham properties because they are pet friendly, but we can't seem to get our rewards. Because of this we won't be staying in them any longer!

The pillows were comfortable and the the AC was just right.. the check in was easy and check out was a breeze. Simple and easy. A lot of folks stay here and at night You could hear them walking around the shower head was very high and the curtain wasn't low enough and water ran out onto the floor.

Continental breakfast wasn't all that good

Easy to find and plenty of parking. Small refrigerator and microwave in room. Beds were comfortable.

Older building so you could hear more noise. Pool and hot tub are under repair.

I liked that my ac was on and the room was comfortable also fisherman there are three awesome ponds behind the hotel

My trash wasn't taken out the bathroom could have used more towels considering we had two ppl

The availability of the rooms. We had just been in an accident the day before and were very sore, the receptionist gave us room options to make us more comfortable.

There's no elevator.

I was able to check-in a bit early because I totally forgot about the time difference. Angel at the front desk was just THAT!!! The staff were great in assisting me with whatever I needed so I have no complaints. I enjoyed my stay and it was in a great location for the Mainly Marathon event in Lamar!!! They are doing renovations so I’m sure it will look even better when finished!
