Beautiful lodge

This rating does NOT apply to the valet guys; they were awesome. However, the overall staff was rather cold and unfriendly. Especially the hostesses and dining staff. Food was fair. The location and setting are beautiful but slightly overpriced. Our next stop was Silverton, and we ate at a place called Eureka Station, and the food and service were ten times better!!

Absolutely gorgeous! Grounds were kept perfect!

CO was very hot during our stay and there was no AC in the hotel. Sleeping was pretty difficult. Also a wedding party was screaming at 2:00 am. Again, very hard to sleep. Spa prices were not realistic. Facials should be in the $200 to $250 range, maybe even $300.

Staff was amazing and courteous. It is convenient for ski with ski rental and valet services in basement and easy access to ski trails.

Thermostat was non functional and even when set at 60 F the room was like a sauna. For the high price paid per night, they should at least include a small breakfast station for free (nothing fancy) but we were glad there was a small cafeteria in the lobby that sells bagels and other pastries.

Great location and view. Great spa and gym. Good restaurant.

A bit over priced. We booked 3 nights in a very high rate (around 750$ a night for a normal room with balcony). apparently it was during the Telluride Blues Festival and therefore it was so expensive. If you have a car And want to park it at the hotel you have to use the Valet service and pay 28$ a day. I advise on unloading the luggage at the reception and park at the free parking at the Gondola parking garage (5 min from the hotel) the gondola will take you quickly straight back to the hotel.

Great location Staff was helpful nice views from the room and food was pretty good too

No microwave in the room so I couldn't even warm up oatmeal for my son and had to wait for the restaurant to open

The view and hotel itself was absolutely beautiful

On my first night, upon arrival, I went to the hotel restaurant to get something to eat. When I sat there admiring the view and enjoying a glass of wine my server told me he had a wedding party to attend to and could I please hurry bc I’m his last table before said wedding party. Mind you, I’d only been at my table for about 45 minutes at this point. That was upsetting and made me worry the rest of my stay would be just as hurried and unpleasant. But it turned out not to be. The valet area was a mess. Waited upwards of 15-30 minutes for my car everyday, making me miss vital business meetings. But other than that it was a great experience. I’ll be back to telluride for sure but probably not to the peaks.

Beautiful property and location.

Service was not as good as I’d expect. Restaurant service was intermittent and spa did not go above when I expressed concern about shutdown to weather. I shared that we stayed at the property for the water slide alone. I was told to call back every 30 minutes. If I heard that I would have empathized and offered to call me back when it reopened. It’s the difference between answering a question and actually providing intuitive service that would have left me feeling special v. Just a number. The spa steam room was disgustingly dirty as well, visible dirt on towel after sitting in there and floors and benches were slimy. I let a worker know but no action was taken. Overall spa service was a disappointment.

Location and view is of a postcard scene. Very good employees all around including front desk, valet, restaurant and even housekeeping. Excellent room (i booked the cheapest one, yet it had a perfect layout including a kitchenette and a balcony). Needed nothing else to make it better.

The service at the front door is excellent--sets the tone for the entire place. The view was great. Location and pet friendly are the best features.

For the price of your cup of joe, one should have 1/2 and 1/2 not artificial creamer for a choice! Small thing but big deal.

The Peaks is an exceptional resort. The staff is courteous and friendly. The room was comfortable and inviting. We loved the view of the mountains from our balcony. Mountain Village is an amazing place where locals and visitors alike are comfortable. I would recommend The Peaks as a perfect place to stay with it's incredible mountain views and proximity to the plazas of Mountain Village.

Absolutely nothing. We were there in July and even though there was no air conditioning, the cool mountain breeze, along with the provided fans kept us comfortable.
