clean. comfortable.close to everything!

we had room 201, which has a couple of chairs and a table on a mini patio, right outside our door…. It is indistinguishable if this area is just for our room or others in the hotel? well I found out it’s the later, which is a little discerning while you’re trying to have vacation sex and you got some yahoo smoking pot and sitting right outside your door and window…. Let’s just say it can makes thing uncomfortable, especially if we start getting loud!! lol. Put it this way, I wouldn’t sit right outside anyone else’s room if it wasn’t mine.

The exterior is very pleasing, easy to find. We had a late check in so they sent the info on our room and how to get the key. The room was large and very nicely decorated. Bathroom was a little small but was adequate. We had a dining area and a kitchen which we were not expecting so added bonus. Overlooked the pool. Another added bonus Tourist Information right across the road along with the bus stop to Fort Lauderdale. The beach was a two minute walk away and town probably about 7 minutes. Lauderdale by the Sea do not have any big box stores or fast food restaurants. If you have a vehicle a short drive away The main street was coffee shops with wonderful pastries. Lots of restaurants and bars lots of areas to relax and watch the activities. Very clean the pier unfortunately got damaged in the last storm so was not open. We went to town for dinner at night it was very vibrant and busy (but don't worry lots of places to eat) great atmosphere but not threatening.

I honestly can't think of anything but if I had to say something maybe they need some updated beach chairs for taking down to the beach. which by the way is only a block away

All the employees/management were friendly and accommodating, especially housekeeping. I mentioned in passing heading out to get coffee filters, and she pulled some out of her bag!

Some fixtures were older, but so what? Everything worked.

Location is excellent, walking distance to the great beach, stores, restaurants. Coral reef, long ocean shelf, provides excellent conditions for swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, even surfing (if it's windy enough for waves). Water was warm, weather was sunny, in March! Property has two pools, with tables and chairs. Saff was friendly, and the room was clean, and kept clean. We rented bikes on site, too.

Older property, but the rooms have been renovated, with tile floors that are easy to keep clean! Bathrooms are dated, but functional. Interior walls are not offering much soundproofing from room to room.

Clean place. Always fresh towels as needed. Was given the first floor at my request. Small cute hotel. Always a lounger available, pool’s older but clean - used it every day. Comfy bed and lots of pillows. Larger than average bar fridge meant I could keep groceries and drinks cool.

Tile floor in unit was swept and looked clean, but needed to be washed! My socks and slippers were filthy. Make sure you have your own hand soap or body wash. I had arranged a late checkout through booking.com. The hotel missed that and staff challenged me until I provided email proof. They acknowledged the error, but it was a little upsetting at the time.

The room was very clean. The cleaning staff cleaned the room and changed the towels everyday. In just 5 mins walking distance (backside of the hotel) there is a beach. The room has kitchen so you can cook your food nice and big refrigerator. There is a supermarket just at the next traffic signal named 'Ocean Mart', from where you can buy drinking water and other stuffs. Within 10 min walking distance you can reach Lauderdale-by-the-sea beach. In the same location you will find many good restaurants like Aruba, 101 Ocean etc. I recommend travelers to try the Gelato-Go, they have some really great flavors. For homemade breakfast I recommend "DelacaSeas Cafe", foods are fresh and they just cook fresh and it is may be 10 min walk or 3 min drive from the hotel. The hotel has free parking spots and they provide 2 beach towel in each room. The location is perfect and it has 2 swimming pools as well. you can wash and dry your clothes in the washer & dryer with $1.50. The Air condition was very powerful, we went in Aug 2023 when the temp was around 105, but the window AC cooled perfectly. I highly recommend "Blue strawberry by the sea".

When we checked in the lady in reception gave us a lovely king room that has a little seating area outside, the room was lovely and bright, really enjoyed our stay would definitely stay here again

The kitchen items were very basic and shower room looks tired.

The manager was exceptional. Alba was very accommodating and runs a tight ship. She is proud to be there and it shows. Her guests are her top priority. Excellent location! Only a short block from the beach and two short blocks from the downtown area. Clean, no bugs, everything worked in the room.

It’s shows it’s age. Futon in living room was quite uncomfortable. We do not recommend for sleeping on it. Maybe a child would be ok there but it’s short and very stiff.
