Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead

The facility and the location is excellent

The front desk staff are very inefficient. We ran out of toilet paper on our 2nd day. I asked the front desk to send us some, but they never did. We ended up using the tissue paper as the toilet paper.😠

Cassis restaurant staff - ALL of them were very friendly, helpful and just made our breakfast perfect. We wished we would have used it more often.

We were a family of four traveling and staying 3 nights on HOT Georgia summer, When we asked for extra toiletries, soap, shampoo, lotion, we got less that what we needed. Other hotels were a bit more generous with these items and we didn't need to ask for more. Also, when we asked for extra blankets, the blankets were VERY worn, almost rag condition.

If you want an upscale, full-service hotel… the Grand Hyatt Buckhead will meet your expectations. The service is top notch. The rooms are extremely comfortable. It was so nice to have attentive staff after having stayed in many hotels post-pandemic where service is just not what it used to be. Let’s face it, overall the hotel experience has changed. Staying at The Grand Hyatt will assure you that while good service and customer-centric experiences are rare in travel anymore, they are still very much a part of a Grand Hyatt Buckhead stay.

Not within the Hyatt’s control, but walking around areas near the hotel we were approached by someone asking for a ride somewhere and followed by a couple of people loitering around. Crime in Buckhead has gotten worse. If you go out to eat, take a taxi or an Uber. I felt 100% safe in the hotel, and not completely unsafe outside the hotel, but just felt the need to keep my wits about me.

Our room was beautiful….a corner suite in the top floor. Very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning and also dinner in the onyx bar area overlooking the garden falls. The pool was very nice with ample chairs.

While the breakfast buffet was nice, a few additional fruit choices would have been appreciated. Would like to have had access to coffee in the lobby. There really was anything problematic during the stay….

No mirror in main part of room (there was a full length on outside of bathroom door but there was barely any light there.. wanted one in main room because bathroom got too hot while getting ready); very scratchy sheets, no glassware in room

I enjoyed the location. Surrounded by several good options and also about a 10 min walk Lennox mall. The place was very clean and the staff was friendly.

All my issues are with pricing. From the over priced room, breakfast (12 bucks for 2 eggs), can sodas 3.50, 27 dollar shot and 50 dollar a night parking.

We loved the zen garden and pool! Drinks and food available pool-side Fridays and Saturdays. The views were beautiful, the location was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We cancelled our planned activities one day just to enjoy the hotel amenities. Food from the restaurant was great.

Room service could have been easier to order (issues with their online system).

It had a good view in the center of Atlanta. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was big and nice. The pool area was relaxing and quiet. I also loved the ability to text the hotel with any questions or concerns!

The girl who checked us in seemed to not know what she was doing and charged my credit card three times. Maria was very helpful and fixed this at our checkout!

The location was central to many attractions. The staff at the Onyx restaurant were exceptional. Our room was beautiful and very clean, well stocked and had a wonderful view.

I wear white socks in the evening as a test to measure the cleanliness of the carpet. My room grade for carpet cleanliness was a "C".
