Homewood Suites Atlanta Midtown

The front desk was extremely busy when we arrived. The parking lot was backed up three blocks beyond the hotel. Everyone in line was rude and impatient. The staff at the front desk handled everything extremely professionally and kept their cool. They were awesome! Our reservation was with Homewood Suites, but there were no rooms available by the time we checked in. They transferred our reservation over to the Hilton Garden, loved our room, no issues at all.

The parking garage was a bit of a nightmare. Had to wait in line over 30 minutes just to get into the garage. I believe the problem was people getting into the garage and not realizing they had to pay for parking, and trying to back out. Created a bit of a traffic nightmare. In the end the staff decided to valet park everyone and handle it really well.

One of the valet attendants was awesome. He was extremely helpful and went above and beyond due to me due to my handicap. I hate that I didn't get his name but I tipped him for his services. The front desk attendant was great. He was able to make stay pleasurable in spite of my handicap.

I just don’t like how housekeeping never checked on us for the 3 days we were there, never cleaned our room and we had to keep calling for towels and tissue! Also, I believe that the parking garage could use a major upgrade. When we first arrived to the hotel, we thought that the hotel was going to be a shiesty one because the parking garage looks super sketchy and old. Plus the unnecessary need to input a code to get down to the hotel floor was unnecessary too because we thought the elevator was broke so we were scared to take it and went down the stairs instead only to later find out that it needs a code! How are new guest supposed to know this ? Other than the sketchy parking garage and housekeeping’s lack of attention, we enjoyed our stay!

Parking garage and house keeping was not attentive, yet kept knocking on our door on the last day to check out. Didn’t give us barely any time to check out and want to keep knocking on our door yet couldn’t even maintain our room for our stay. Also one other thing, the guest rooms could use more light . We had to turn on every light in the suite to fully take good pictures and to get dressed .

I dislike the valet parking, not worth any money, very unprofessional. Side by side rooms were not available, but were vacant. The toilet in my room had a loud running water sound, that interrupted your sleep. I informed front desk nothing happened, also the stove had only one burner working. The room wasn't Lysol clean as they say, it could of been cleaner. Just wasn't impressed with this hotel.

Loved the location and general setup of the hotel. It was very nice!

Just a few things in my room, like the coffee maker didn’t have filters with it or the proper coffee bags to actually make coffee. The toilet ran forever after flushing! Not sure why. And the tv remotes didn’t work for the bedroom or the living room. Just small stuff!

The breakfast was very limited even living within this post-Covid world, the selection were underwhelming. In most of my travels in recent times, hotels still offered a selection of varied hot foods.

Breakfast was awful, hot tub was not open, floor in kitchen is warped and needs replacement, towels had too strong smell of bleach, and the $100 fee added on was odd, for valet parking that I thought was only $45

Wasn’t no hot options but waffles so i didn’t eat breakfast at all i was looking forward to the breakfast

Breakfast was ok. Enjoyed the all day coffee. Jeraead was very nice , patient and pleasant to speak to.

1 of the question I asked was the pool open, they said yes. When I got thier it was closed on not cleaned out.

Thankful for the COVID friendly continental breakfast. Front desk staff was pleasant mostly

Maneuvering the parking garage, which was old, dirty, musty, and could use a paint job. Because of that I only parked there one night. I should have not used it at all.
