Loved the rustic furniture, but updated fridge and microwave, TV and internet. Gorgeous forest view from our 2nd floor room. Comfy bed, fine shower, quiet room. Adequate breakfast. Walmart Superstore a ten minute walk away. The Ponderay area has plentiful hiking trails, natural beauty, boat rides, great little restaurants... but is not over-run with tourists.

Never figured out how to operate the room a/c, but it was comfortable enough. I'm sure if I had asked, I would have received help. Room was small compared to newer motels, but the price was right. The dining room and lobby by the front door were perfectly large enough for us to play games with relatives or visit with friends.

The staff was awesome! Breakfast was very good although not really enough variety for a seven day stay. Location was great for seeing local attractions. Overall, we had a great time and would not hesitate to visit there again.

The only negative was that the bathroom could use a hook to hang clothes on while showering.

We liked our check-in experience with Jodie during the evening of June 18, 2023. We were pleased with the ability to stay on the first floor, and the ability to park behind the property. We were given great recommendation for a nearby restaurant (Sweet Lou's), and were happy with the cleanliness of our room!!

We had a difficult time going to sleep on this one-night stay due to kids playing in the hot tub across the hallway, And they were running up and down the hallway and yelling. We finally got up at 9:30pm to observe the noise. Shortly thereafter, this issue stopped!

Area behind first floor rooms open to people wandering (which someone did and stood outside our room on the phone), makes it very uncomfortable Room was quite small We had 2nd floor room, but due to no elevator, we switched since my husband has a hard time with stairs

The bathroom was updated and nice, Hot water a plus. Room was nice. Coffee was good! We would stay again. Service was fast and friendly. Heating system was good. TV was good with a variety channels. The towels were clean and nice, beds were nice - clean.

needs updated to include USB ports for plugging in phones and tablets to charge, More plugins for Computers. The pillows were ok but not real comfortable. Brighter Light Blubs Parking lot did not have enough room for all parking.

The property was conveniently located, easy to find. The room was clean and well decorated. The afternoon clerk was friendly and very helpful.

Unfortunately we slept poorly do you nighttime noise from the reception area. There was loud talking off and on all night long. The breakfast offerings were ok, no toast.

Easy parking at a western style hotel along the highway just outside of Sandpoint. Friendly staff. Walmart and great brewery up the road - The Laughing Dog.

Location was great. Breakfast could use a little more variety. More fruit. It was quite and we just needed somewhere last minute to get a decent night's sleep.

Really didn't care for the rustic decor because it was really dusty. Pillows needed to be replaced because they were to small.
