The staff and very pleasant and cordial. Any item needed they would provide. They go overboard in making your stay comfortable and you happy. While the rooms may be older they are exceptionally clean. The lines are soft and cuddly, the mattress provides an excellent night’s rest and you may want to take it home an is so comfortable. Each morning the shower was steamy hot with excellent pressure. We were there for five days for our grandson's.graduation it was the perfect spot. Nice outdoor chairs and a well appointed indoor lounging room. I would most stay here again

Could be sproced up in the room. Area. A extra lamp for the night stand sufficient space to to hand towels, gowns, pj's.

The location and value were good. The staff was great. Cookies were a nice touch. It was good that they had a washer and dryer.

The washer/dryer room was the gate to hell! No ventilation and I don't think the lint trap had been cleaned in a long while. That said, it was great they have it, I just need a sauna! LOL! The serious issue was the breakfast. It was worst we have had in a good hotel in our travels. Eggs and sausage were burnt to the pan. Just bad. Bad for the Choice hotel brand. It is criminal that the insurance co. won't pay for the hail damage.

It was a short drive to Grinnell College where we were visiting. The rooms were clean, check in and check out was easy. The breakfast was simple.

I think everything was good and I don't have anything about the hotel that I didn't like. The surrounding area had a manure smells (I am guessing they were fertilizing fields nearby) but you would not smell it in the hotel which was great.

Front desk woman was incredibly kind and helpful, ended up upgrading us to a very nice suite. Room was clean, all the normal amenities you can expect.

The poor place had been hit by a massive hail storm a few weeks before us and hadn’t been fixed yet. The outside looked like a warzone but the rooms and inside were untouched, totally great.

Comfortable beds. Spacious room. Good breakfast with fresh fruit and yogurt and a decent variety of cereals, pastries. Yummy cookies available near the front desk. Choose a room, facing the back where there is a nice field.

Room was not clean. Clearly dirty floor in the bathroom. Rooms facing the parking lot on the first floor do not feel very private.

Very friendly and welcoming staff at check in, excellent location, and perfect facilities for traveling with my little dog. An unexpected surprise was the beautiful view of the Iowa farmland from my room window. Overall this little gym exceeded my expectations and I will stay there again if I am in the area.

Very friendly front desk girl. She was very helpful with information on finding a good place to eat. She recommended Pagliai’s which was just a couple miles away. The food and service there was fantastic also. The room was very clean and the beds were outstandingly comfortable.

The only thing I would change is to have a few more kid-friendly breakfast options.

Nice indoor pool and nice to have a hotel out in the middle of nowhere to stay

There really isn’t much of a town or good food nearby. Also had horrible Wi-Fi issues and my phones reception on data wasn’t any better

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Only complaint is that the rooms only have one mirror in the bathroom. it would be nice to have a full length mirror in the main area for those travelers who have more then one person who needs a mirror to get ready while another person is in the shower.

The staff member at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Parking was plentiful and convenient. Breakfast was decent, which is all I expected.
