Wow - what an AMAZING place! I find it hard to sum up how wonderful this place was. The building itself is a gorgeous and ornately decorated Victorian in wonderful shape, lovingly taken care of and run by Barbara. I stayed in the Deluxe Queen Suite on the 2nd floor, which was very charming, had a HUGE, extremely comfortable bed, lots of wonderful amenities and touches -- water pitcher with glass by the bed, lots of towels, candies, DVD of An Affair to Remember for guests to watch (one of the actresses in the film had bought the house for her parents to live in back before it became a BnB). The room had a very clean and well-appointed bathroom next to it. Breakfast was exquisite, made to order free-range eggs from owner's farm, bacon, toast, fruit cup, orange juice, tea/coffee -- all served in a beautiful Victorian dining room. My stay here was an amazing value and I would absolutely stay here again!

It is an absolutely beautiful home. Barb was a very kind hostess and we enjoyed our breakfast.

I was a little uncomfortable when I realized that we had no way to lock any of the doors that went to our room. Also, I didn’t realize until it was too late that there was no fan in the room and it did get rather warm.

Barbara went out of her way to ensure that everything was as we expected. We basically just needed a place to sleep and the ease of coming in and out was perfect. It's a beautiful home and I really enjoyed the attention to detail and the historical information provided.

My only minor complaint is that we were in the first floor room and one morning, the other guests were a little noisy at breakfast, when I was still sleeping. It was 8:30, so really, it was more on me being a little lazy, but I think next time, I'd like to stay in one of the rooms upstairs instead.

We have stayed at the B&B twice now, 2 separate rooms. One king size bed and the other a queen size bed. Both beds were extremely comfortable and the breakfasts were wonderful. So accommodating to my dietary needs. Short walk to downtown and safe neighborhood.

Bathroom could have been a tad cleaner.

Fascinating historical house and quaint town. Walking distance to restaurants. Owner takes great care to be sure you have everything you need. Delicious breakfast. Very clean and excellent value. Great stay!

We had an excellent host, a good breakfast and a very comfy bed. We appreciated that we had enough chairs in the room for us both to sit in. The luxurious robes provided were a bonus.

Though we had a private bath, it was located outside our bedroom door, next door in the hall.

Everything about this stay was what we were expecting. The area, hospitality, food and convenience. We even had a little snow. The icing on the cake were the hats at breakfast!!

Our hosts were very friendly and personable. It was very important to them that we enjoyed our stay, which we did. Breakfast was great, as were the little extras, ie DVDs and popcorn.

Hosts were beyond welcoming and friendly! They take a lot of pride in maintaining their facilities and service; along w/sharing history of wonderful house.
