Breakfast was great. It was busy, i don't think the staff was prepared for it to be as busy as it was on Thursday and Friday morning. By the time my granddaughter and i got up to the breakfast meat it was all gone, but understandable when there was a bunch of men in front of us.

I think maybe next year when Knoxville Sprint Car Nationals come around and the hotel is booked with race car fans, have the employees prepared for big breakfast eaters during those Thursdays and Fridays too.

The location and facilities offered were all good. The breakfast area was very clean and the food on offer was appreciated. It is great to have something to eat before starting your day and the staff I met were pleasant and took great care of this service and that was great to see. The included streaming options of HBO and Showtime on the TV were a nice addition that I was able to enjoy

The hotel is near the road and can be noisy, particularly the truck engine braking. I stayed for 2 nights on a business trip and I am not an untidy person but the trash can was overflowing when I left. The new post Covid lack of daily room cleaning has become a new normal and I do not like it.

I’m just road tripping solo, this was a place to spend the night on my travel. Everything was decent to me. The room was clean and comfortable. I could stream off the tv, a definite plus. Breakfast included egg and meat. There was some trouble at check in, which I was absolutely not in the mood for, but Doug at the front desk worked me through it, which I greatly appreciate.

I booked through a 3rd party source and my points are not count for this stay becuase I did not book direct through Marriott. I book through 3rd party becuase the rates and cancellation policies are better. I prefer Marriott Hotels but I may switch for better points program which is unfortunate.

Perfect location for us; clean; new; modern with more USB ports than some hotels for devices; TV screen on with personalized greeting; contactless check-in hrs ahead; more modern keyless entry card w option to use phone if registered that option at front desk; great hot & cold brkfst choices; elevator; pillow choices.

King bed room didn’t have USB ports available on both sides of the bed. I brought adapters luckily.

New and clean

They need to train the staff. When I’m paying over $200 a night for Oskaloosa, Iowa I would expect a few welcoming smiles from the staff. When I came in I stood in front of the woman for a bit, she finally looked at me and said do you want to check in? Well, yep. Didn’t come to stand here. Then she kept her eyes closed half the time trying to check me in, while telling me she couldn’t hear me. Then telling me over and over my card was invalid, which it wasn’t. Finally, I was checked in. The next morning checking out, I asked for a receipt, that woman never smiled, said a word, just looked like she had sucked a lemon! They really need to work on customer service.

Was. Clean and quite

They didn't come and tidy room with fresh towels or take the trash out .. they said they only take trash out every two days . If we wanted them to take trash we should have put it outside by door

My only complaint was that there were no plastics forks for breakfast; only knives and spoons. I had to eat a waffle with a spoon! When we told the staff member, she said, “We don’t have forks out right now.” I ca honestly say I’ve never in my years of traveling had a hotel run out of forks. I did feel bad for her because she was trying to work the front desk and help the diners at the same time. I am sure Covid is the reason for this.

Everything was great except there was a garment left by someone previously in the corner of the room behind a piece of furniture it wasn't pleasant to find.

Friendly staff! Convenience to the university! Great selections for breakfast!

My only problem was that I noticed a continuous order coming from the bathroom toilet. However, everything appeared to be very clean.
