Super 8 by Wyndham Goodland

At the front desk, Bill’s attitude and efficiency was exceptional. He has managed this property for 31 years, and this showed in how the rooms and grounds were kept up. On check-in, we received our preference of a room downstairs with parking right in front. He recommended the north side, which was quieter. Sure enough, large trucks parked on the south side or the west end. The lobby displayed a detailed menu of the various hot and cold breakfast items, and we were not disappointed in the large breakfast room the next morning. The room was larger than expected and the bed was comfortable. Despite the age of this budget motel, everything worked and was as clean as my grandma would require of her own home.

There was a faint perfumed odor when we checked in. We were able to clear the air by cracking the door and running the bathroom fan.

Breakfast was warm and fresh! Coffee was very good! Orange juice and yogurt and bananas were very much appreciated!! Easy to fix oatmeal and waffles were tasty! The lady assisting was kind and helpful and had a nice smile for everyone in the room. The room was very clean and tables were well spaced! TV news gave great info on the snow and weather to come. From signing in to checking out we had a great experience at Super 8, and it was a super value also!

The only thing we noticed was weather stripping was missing to keep cold air out. We used a chair and winter coat to help with that. It was a very chilly blustery night outside. We were very pleased with our room and the little refrigerator! The TV gave us a heads up about the weather.

It was quiet, convenient, clean, and the breakfast selection was good.

There were flies and a few bugs that hopped on us in the middle of the night.

This was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. The effort to ensure a clean and orderly environment was obvious within moments of entering the room. The breakfast dining room was likewise surgically clean. I am so impressed with this motels commitment to "clean".

The most handicapped accessible bathroom I have ever found. The quality of mattress and furniture was very good. Cleanliness was first rate. The staff was very friendly and made good recommendations on eating establishments. Very room rivaled much more expensive establishments that we have used. Great value!

The continental breakfast could have had a few more choices.

Everything went smoothly. Hotel room was clean.

That we found a price on line that was cheaper, but when we called the hotel directly, they wanted more money. I’ve always been told to call the hotel directly and tell them the price that was seen online and they will match or beat that price. The online companies get a cut of the pie, we were just trying to save the hotel some money.

This is a very clean hotel! Staff was excellent and very accommodating! The door handle on one of the rooms we rented wouldn't work when we got back from our event at 1:30 in the morning and they had it repaired almost immediately with a smile on their face, couldn't say enough about how nice everyone that works there is.

our kids declared this was the BEST place we’ve ever stayed! the beds were comfortable, room clean and fairly new. the breakfast was extensive for such a place and included make your own waffles and a machine that makes pancakes by pressing a button. how cool is that?? the staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our unexpected stay due to poor weather on I-70, including a jumpstart for our car on a freezing cold morning.

Breakfast was not that good, I wish they would have had more hot food. The staff was very nice. It was so nice to have a smiling face greet you at the front deck after a long road trip. Thank you we will be staying there again.

The breakfast was not great. I get its more of a Continental, but your only pastry item was white bread. Would have been nice to have other choices. And creamer with the coffee. Didn't even see powered.
