Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham of Houma

Love it was quiet and very nice. The rooms were cold love that and love the beds very comfortable and the shower was amazing specially how the bathroom was made 😍❤️ and love they had breakfast too and the pool was very nice and clean

There was nothing I didn't like I love everything

It was peaceful and quiet. My room was on the first floor, which I loved. It was across the hall from the fitness room: another plus! The hotel is centrally located: Stores, restaurants, and gas stations nearby.

The only problem I had was the climate in the fitness room. The a/c unit was not working properly. It was set on 60 but the temperature in the room was more like 85, which made exercising in there a lot harder. Even in the early morning it was still very hot in there.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel looked recently remodeled and nicely done.

Breakfast selection was poor. Basically, cereal, waffles, and prepackaged treats. Room was nice but on the small size compared to other hotels I've stayed at.

Rooms are small but cute

I had to ask for new sheets because I had a surprise from Aunt Flo. When I asked for a new set of sheets at the front desk the man wanted to know why. When I discretely tried to explain he wanted exact details I guess. So I had to explain this in the lobby on front of other guests. I then had to bring the soiled linen downstairs to exchange for new. I seriously just needed a bottom sheet so this felt like a bunch of extra drama.

Never stayed at s Microtel before. I was impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the room. The room is small but everything you need is in there. Tub was nice and large, great water pressure, a heat lamp over the tub, and an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Nice window lounge area. Big mirror over the bed and over the work desk to make the room feel larger. I will definitely consider Microtel for future stays.

No pool, small continental breakfast, toilet seats are loose, in room and in lobby. Not a lot of counterspace.

The property is very conveniently located and very clean. The rooms are very small but it’s about $20 a night less than the other properties. It worked well for the night we stayed. The bed was comfortable.

The rooms aren’t very sound proof. You can hear noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms. The housekeeping staff started trying to enter my room around 830am

It was ok the location was great ,your staff was great,well nothing everything was ok . It was great .

Friendly staff, place was clean, but hard to turn left from the parking lot. A restaurant is walking distance but no sidewalk. Large lobby with plenty of.seating.

We could hear what was said or done in the next room, smoking rooms , smoke smell in the hallway, breakfast was a joke, no juice, eggs,meats, limited fruit, no toast. Room was tiny. No house keeping.
