Friendly and accommodating staff. Hot shower with great water pressure!!

The outside appearance, along with the worst parking lot conditions we have ever seen to an operating business was alarming at first. We almost kept on driving to be truthful. However, I went in to check it out and was pleasantly surprised by the cute décor & cleanliness of the lobby. After checking in with a very friendly staff member my mind was changed about staying and we all had a very comfortable weekend there.

Everyone was really friendly. Not too busy this time of the year, so it was kind of quiet. They made sure everything was to our satisfaction.

The breakfast wasn't diabetic friendly, my husband is diabetic, so we had to go to a local restaurant to eat breakfast every morning. All they had were sweet rolls, toast, cereal, etc. But their coffee was great so we always got a travel mug full of that.

Location was convenient for Baxter State Park and Katahdin Woods and Waters, but hard to find initially as it is hidden behind a vacant business with no frontage on the main road.

Old furnishings looked like from 1950s. Carpet in hallways is old, dirty and lumpy. Odd set up with the pool inside the lobby but probably nice for people with kids. Pleasant staff at front desk.

I've stayed here several times over the past few years and my room has always been comfortable, clean and well-appointed. The continental breakfast is fairly good and the staff are attentive and helpful. Katahdin Inn is a good value in a great location on my excursions to Baxter State Park and Katahdin Woods and Waters.

That parking lot.... I don't think it's gotten much worse over the past few years but it was horrendous to begin with. In contrast with my room itself room, some of the common areas are a bit threadbare. I would have liked a little more variety at the breakfast, perhaps some bagels.

Very friendly staff. Facilities and pool were very clean. Plenty of free parking. Rooms were clean and room service did a great job daily. Beds were clean and comfortable. There is also a convenient coin operated laundry on 2nd floor. Front desk is only open upto 10 pm, so make sure you can check in before that. It's not a negative thing, just a note.

Room and building was very clean. Building is old but well maintained. Very clean room. Bed was comfortable and room smelled nice.

The free breakfast was juice, toast, cereal and coffee. They had a container of margarine half used on the counter. No peanut butter, or jelly. It was Sunday and I thought they would have something nice.

Breakfast was good. Everything was fresh and welcoming. We were picking up Thru hikers from different states. This was perfect for 1 night as they were all flying home the next day. The staff was very friendly and would help if anything was needed. The hotel suited our needs at this time, seeing that there were places to eat close by and a grocery store.

That night though it was not the hotel's fault, there were kids running around and banging on the floor above us. One of the hikers called and let them know about it and they took care of it to the best of their ability.

The staff is so friendly! It's a strange, unique, sort of dumpy but ultimately fabulous indoor courtyard built around an indoor pool. If you're traveling for Katahdin, highly recommended!

Was very nice and quiet. Clean, and very nice people running it. Would stay there again if I ever was in that area

Needs a little attention. Parking lot is bumpy. But not horrible.

We have traveled during Sep 2021 and hotel followed all the Covid rules. This was our first stay at hotel during covid pandemic. All went well and really appreciate the hotel staff who kept it clean while following all covid rules
