It wasn't exactly what we expected to find but we liked how it was set up. It was convenient for shopping and eating. It was nice to have coffee in the morning and to have the breakfast partially paid for. We enjoyed looking at all the work that must have went into making this home a lodging place for travelers.

We didn't expect our room to be as small as it was. Even for two of us, there was no room to sit and watch television, (we had to lay in bed to watch tv, which isn't bad, but we would have liked to sit up and have a beverage) or sit and work on our computers. We actually didn't even have room for our two suitcases. That being said, it was an adorable room, just hard for two people to do more than just sleep in, and even then, difficult for one person to get out of since it is up against a wall, so I needed to scoot to the end (I'm a bit older in age) so this wasn't always easy in the middle of the night. The room we were in would be suited for a single person, not so much two people.

The Inn was centrally located, ideal for exploring all that the town had to offer. The room was charming. The kitchen/lounge area with fireplace and comfy chairs was inviting. The complementary breakfast was at a lovely coffee-shop cafe owned by the same management, located a short block away from the Inn.

I was a little bit nervous about the parking. It was in a steep, narrow, snow-covered alley. I wasn't sure I could get my car in and out safely.

Amazing value and super cozy vibes! We loved grabbing our complimentary breakfast at the coffee shop nearby. loved seeing the history of the house and the cool news articles posted about.

Only complaint was that it didn’t feel very secure. The main door was always open and the door to our room wouldn’t lock (I think the battery was dead). Walls were a little thin but that’s to be expected in an old retrofitted house.

I was wary about them not employing any front desk people, but it makes sense when you see the property, and they do employ cleaners. It's a nice, private experience. Beautiful rooms and common areas, wonderful beds and linens, really cozy and private. I love that you can walk a block to a nice coffee shop, and the living room is comfy for digital nomads who might need to work, COVID-allowing. There isn't a desk in the room, but the room was lovely and a folding table set up in front of the couch worked for me to get some work done. The kitchen facilities were great and everything was very clean, good TV and wifi. LIterally my only complaint was that other guests chose to be noisy on the stairs and woke me, which is hard to do, but that's really on the guests for not realizing it's a house, not a hotel building, and it's not sound-proof. When the heating was a bit confusing, the staff helped right away and we figured it out. I will definitely go back.

We loved the pine paneling and appreciated how clean it is. We liked the option of breakfast at the nearby cafe for breakfast.

The air conditioner was very loud and not optional in terms of turning it off. The king bed was very comfortable but we could feel when the other person rolled over or got up.

Super cute living area and fully equipped kitchen. Room was decorated very nice and was very cozy.

We were there fairly early, which is good because with the snow banks and small parking area, we were one of the first there so we were able to park easily. There is only just enough room for like 4 cars. Also our room was on the main level so we could hear people outside and walking by our door, as well as activity in the kitchen. We also had a hard time regulating the heat, it was very warm and the thermostat didn’t seem to work.

Awesome location, right across from piragis outfitters if that fits your travels. Very comfortable stay. Would stay again and look no further when we see in the area again.

I don't think they gave us the king room I reserved but it wasn't an issue. Our room had more bedding than we needed but it was very comfortable.

Convenient location. Simple and excellent check in. Super Clean space. Excellent coffee shop and muffin a few steps away and included in the price. Highly recommended for an overnight stay. Convenient to all business and restaurants and retail downtown Ely offers.

I liked the common sitting area and the kitchen. I appreciated having a private exit and a place to park my car. The room was comfortable.

There was a lot of noise inside the house from other guests’ normal movements. There was too much light coming through the private door’s window at night.

Great location in Ely.Walkable to downtown businesses. Close to beach and short drive to hiking trails.

Room for 3 was okay with child in king size bed but wouldn't have been acceptable for 3 adults.
