Holiday Inn Poplar Bluff, an IHG Hotel

I like the location as it was in the middle of town. I like that it had a restaurant available so we didn't have to leave if we didn't want to. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and plenty of hygiene products and towels.

I didn't like that the pool closed at 10pm. Also, breakfast when you got a voucher with the room the people giving info about the availabilities didn't mention the buffet only a few items on the menu. Had to ask ourselves to find out about buffet.

Breakfast in the restaurant attached to hotel was convenient but they never had enough wait staff so service seemed slow. Food was good, but the selection menu was vague. Had to have the staff tell us what was available. Supposed to be a buffet, but when we checked it looked aged and we were down there around 9ish so chose to order off the selected items rather than the buffet. Buffet was not clearly visible, had to look for it. No signage to speak of. I had asked before checking in if the bathtub had a grab bar and they did not know and thought I needed a handicapped room, which I did not, but none were available anyway. Our bathroom did indeed have a grab bar. My assumption is almost all of the rooms should at this point, but the associate at the desk didn't know.

The ease of checking in, the friendliness of the night clerk while checking in. Check out was also easy and the morning clerk was very pleasant. The breakfast voucher/coupons for the attached Restaurant was a very nice added surprise for us. It was nice to get a full breakfast for free.

Being woken at 2 am by another guest pounding on his room door trying to get his kids to let him in (that's what the front desk told me) it was frightening to be woken in such a manor, although it had nothing to do with the staff.

Clean and very quiet!!! Other properties in town we have stayed at had really wild, loud people almost every stay. The rooms are quite large in comparison as well, and there is a ton of room in the lobby to sit. It DOES NOT include breakfast, you should know.

No complimentary breakfast; I don’t quite get this-every other hotel in town provides it.

Free breakfast and discounted dinner from the attached restaurant was amazing! Staff was so very courteous. Lela was the front office attendant and she was so polite and worked with us even while the phone was ringing off the hook and multiple people at the counter. Beds were great, sheets were soft, room was perfectly cool and the whole Hotel was exceptionally clean.

i liked that there is a very good restaurant and bar located on site. The staff was nice and our room was clean.

The indoor pool room was extremely hot if you were not in the pool. I wasn’t able to sit and talk with family from out of town and watch my daughter, nieces and nephews swim because it was to hot.

Very convenient, clean throughout the facility, dining inside the facility, complimentary breakfast coupon allowed us a delicious freshly cooked mea! The beds, linens and pillows were very clean and comfy, bathrooms were spotless with luxurious towels, bath and body works products were an extra nice touch after a long day! Our amenities inside the room were very convenient. We can’t say enough about the wonderful staff! Miss Linda and Miss Wilma made us feel right at home, they were very friendly and helpful going out of the way to make every aspect of our stay fabulous! We will happily stay at this accommodation again!

Complimentary breakfast was only if member of Holiday Inn Club. Didn't like that hassle. Service in restaraunt for breakfast a little slow. Went for dinner. Service was great but took quite a while for food but it was very good. HI staff were not super friendly but not rude either.

That they were clean and served a breakfast but wish it would of had fruit as well as cereal and juice. Instead of being charged for juice.

They catered my reunion and the food was cold

We liked having a nice restaurant on the property. After a long day of driving, we enjoyed getting a good meal and a drink at our hotel.
