Location for skiing: Ski-in / ski-out is perfect. Chairlift just across the door. Clean and modern rooms with enough storage possibilities. Lots of possibilities to hang around outside your room.

Awful waiting lines (40 minutes) for breakfast - no difference if you are early or late. Breakfast buffet was quite empty very early in the morning. No or only very slow refill. Service people difficult to find or reach out to. Service in Chets Restaurant was poor. Long and dark hallways. After moving to the 3rd (upper) floor we had quiet nights.

Nice lodge, amazing views, and amazing staff at the front desk. Super breakfast in the morning.

Booked FOUR rooms. Part of our group had to stay behind in Bozeman as we had a pregnant lady traveling with us for the first time in the USA with high risk of blood clots something that I was not aware of when I booked the rooms. She was advised by her dr. to avoid high altitudes. The front desk workers promised me that management will understand and refund me the money for the two un-used rooms. Needless to say, Management was greedy and kept the money for both the rooms that were not used. Shameful when money overcomes compassion for someone that could have died in an instant from a blood clot. Management should learn compassion from their staff members.

Staff was excellent, and very thoughtful! The movie was cancelled one night which happened to by my sons birthday and they offered to host him for a private showing the next and let him pick his movie out! Very sweet of them to think of him!

Possibly a little maintenance on the pool areas- I know that’s not the money maker but for the summer guests it is a big pull after a long day of hiking and biking! Service in Chet’s was a bit hit or miss- last day we weren’t even offered drinks and plenty of servers made eye contact and saw empty water cups.

Huntley Lodge will be featured in our travel guide and in our Spotlight on Big Sky.. The lodge is in a wonderful central location on the mountain, near base camp, the exchange and the three main lifts up to the trails/skiing. Recent renovations make the lodge shine. Our room was a studio apartment with a loft located on the top floor of the lodge, with great views out the expansive picture window. Up the stairs was another large window with a power controlled window covering that could be open or closed with the touch of a button. And the loft area had its own windows facing the opposite direction, so we had clear views of the entire area. In the downstairs area of the loft apartment was the main sleeping area and bathroom. Up four steps was a raised sitting area with a couch, coffee table and a comfy chair with a side table. Great place to sit with the family and hang out and look out the window. Upstairs was a bunk bed with a full size bed on the bottom and a twin size bed above, as well as another sitting area. Front desk staff was very friendly, as was the concierge and bell staff. Valet parking is $15 a day, otherwise parking is free, but a little tricky as the parking lot is down hill and connected to the lodge by a tunnel and stairs (or a bit of a climb up the road on foot). Bell staff was attentive and helpful with our car and bags on check in and check out. Summer is mud season at Big Sky and this is a perfect destination for mountain biking with lots of different trails down the mountain, from beginning to advanced. Hiking trails are a bit different, as there are trails down the mountain once you are up at the top, but we would have preferred to walk around at the top or perhaps from one lift area across the mountain to the next. This season and next (2024) you can walk around at the top only in one lift area.

Some small issues. We paid for three guests, but told them were only two at checkin. However, we weren't credited back the $25 a day fee for the breakfast. Second, bikes and bikers are given priority over hikers/pedestrians on the lifts. This is fine but hikers/walkers should be forewarned as it can lead to misunderstanding. It's understandable as they pay for their pass and ours is free, but a bit of communication.

it had everything we needed. room wasn’t huge, but we didn’t plan on spending much time there. the best part was the breakfast buffet such a good way to start your day before heading on the slopes. the verity every day. I was blown away. also the outdoor heated pool was the best way to end your day. it was a short walk from the base and the explorer lift is right there.

the rooms are kinda small and the price is expensive but that is to be expected for a peak season ski vacation.

Breakfast was good. There was already a gratuity included, but the waiter pointed out that we could leave an extra tip.

I wish the front desk had pointed out the free lift ticket that was included in the stay. Our room was much closer to the free parking lot, but we were sent to the gated parking lot.

Everything was solid 10!! Staff was very pleasant, room was big, comfortable, clean, fridge and microvawe, view, pool was heated and two hot tubs are perfect relaxation after day of activities. Breakfast delicious, serving staff amazing.

No bad coment about this hotel. PARKING was a bit away and few spots. Don't know how is it during peak season, we had nonproblems. Will come back

Great location, fantastic outdoor pool and hot tub

Banging external door made the room noisy. Not enough, breakfast staff or tables laid out, so had to queue to be seated and struggle to get a drink

The lift passes to go up the Mountain were complementary, which saved us $130. The hotel was lovely and the room was exceptional. The breakfast was the best inclusive meal we've ever had as a breakfast.

The tallest mountain is closed for the entire summer due to ski lift upgrades. No bar in the hotel to sit and enjoy a drink after 9.30.

Great buffet breakfast with a wide selection, kept us fuelled up for the day. Outdoor hot tubs and heated pool were fantastic after a big day of skiing!

Some items would run out eg. pancakes, waffles when it was busy.
