Lovely grounds, rooms small but clean & comfortable beds. View of mountains from room. Large deck with sunset & mountain view. Dinner & drinks in the Lounge was great. Staff very friendly. Drove to all the lakes on east side of Glacier, & also to Waterton in Canada. Lots of steps to our 3rd floor room but that was manageable. Reasonable gift shop. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It was in the upper 80s during our stay in early Sep & the room got rather warm even with the fan. But we didn't mind, we spent most of our time outdoors!

The lodge is absolutely beautiful!!! The staff was excellent and so friendly! We love the chairs to relax in while looking out the big beautiful windows facing the enormous mountains.

Mattress need to be replace to avoid body pains throughout your stay to get the most enjoyment out of your stay. Fill size beds are just not comfortable. I know the lodge it trying to keep things as original as possible, but a few upgrades are necessary...plugs by the desk and nightstand to accommodate three prog plugs.

Love the large porch and flowers. The lobby was fabulous. Added a few pieces to the puzzle.

This was a learning experience for me. We stayed in several different hotels on this trip. We were on the 3rd floor, and I wasn't thinking with no elevators. Being older with heart health issues I was winded by the time getting to the room. We were there during the extreme heat and it was a warm. I understand with the historic lodge and rare heat occurrence, there is no need for AC.

The lodge was beautiful with a lot of history .The views are spectacular

Rooms were definitely sub standard this is under stable as the lodge was build over 100 rears ago. However the rooms were very noisy one could follow the conversations of the neighbor, the furniture was old and uncomfortable, restaurants expensive.

The grounds and overall facility was beautiful, amazing and the personnel were friendly and helpful. Overall, a great place to stay and would recommend to others. Thanks

The room itself just wasn't what I felt comfortable in. Some people like the nostalgic experience but it just wasn't what I enjoyed.

The grounds are beautiful as is the hotel lobby. We love the old stately architecture. The room was spacious with windows that could be opened for cool air at night. A box fan was also provided. Restaurant service and food very good. The gift shop was very good. The location was very convenient to visiting Two Medicine in Glacier NP.

The bathroom walls had multiple holes where old towel racks and a shelf had been. A step down from the bathroom into the sleeping area was clearly marked but had to be watched carefully. The bathroom lacked anywhere to set down one's travel kit and personal items.

Beautiful setting and the lodge itself is jaw dropping. Our dinner in the lounge was exceptional.

Our room was sparse, which made the price seem exorbitant. We passed an open door a few rooms down the hall and saw that it had been beautifully renovated, which made us feel even more disappointed.

The overall views and grounds are stunning. The lobby is stunning and the grand fireplace so romantic and cozy. The seats and games along all the corridors was wonderful too. People really used them! All of the staff we engaged with were kind, helpful and fun to talk to. We got alot of good information for day trips and enjoyed the bar area and lobby. I liked the piano playing in the lobby- very classy and nostalgic. The guys dressed like the train depot were great- so friendly too.

THe food was ok but i thought it would be better given such a wonderful and grand place. There weren't enough chairs/pieces of furniture in the room to help support our family items so alot was on the floor. It was plenty roomy though. We also just had a view of the rear parking lot so that wasn't very nice, but we could see the mountain a bit in the background.

Love the historic lodge and the dining options available. Love the programs provided for guests onsite. Beautiful grounds and convenient to Glacier entrance.

The mattresses on the beds need to be replaced. Had a double queen room and both mattresses sank into the middle
