The price is good, though it seems inflation has caught up with the establishment. Nevertheless, by comparison to other places it still remains a good economical option. When I travel on a road trip, I am happy simply to have a nice clean bed to sleep in and a bathroom. This place fits the bill. The food at the restaurant on site is really good.

Of course, the motel is an older place; but, at the same time, it gives the overall experience a certain charm. Regular keys are still used for the doors. Trying to update everything would no doubt needlessly put the price up higher.

When you first pull up you may think, oh no. It looks a little run down and shoddy next to some of the newer brand hotels next to it and across from it. The room is dated but exceptionally clean - the beds are good and I had a great night's sleep. Everything worked, lights, fridge, microwave. Travelling alone (female) I was very comfortable here. Had my dog and we were ground floor end, and could easily go out to the parking/dog area at night (she actually had a problem and we were out 3 times that night). The lot is well lighted and there were several trucks and large horse trailers and felt very safe. Was very quiet as well. The staff was very friendly and professional. I would definitely stay here again. Great value.

Great location with truck w/ trailer parking. Restaurants attached. I have had the spaghetti twice now, very good, the stew that day was utterly delicious. Staff are outstanding as they pull double duty with restaurant and check in. Great rates.

Very outdated. If you have a ground floor room you have a door directly to the outside, a great plus, and you bring in a lot of the dirt and pebbles onto your carpeted floors. Not a nice surprise stepping on a good sized stone bare footed in the middle of the night. Door mats????

The staff here are super friendly and helpful. They have a 24 hour restaurant in the building by the lounge that has good burgers. You can order and sit down there or have the food made to take out! The room smelled very good when we walked in and the beds were super comfortable. We were able to stay there with our 80 pound Pitmix dog with no issues! We were also on a budget and our room for two nights was very affordable. Loved this place and would definitely stay again!

Bathroom was rather small and you can hear anyone in the room above you moving around if you stay in a ground floor room. But these are very minor problems in the long-run.

The location right off the highway, near dinosaur museums, and Makoshika state park was really convenient. The room was large, and the minifridge and microwave were welcome. The place was well kept and clean, and an interior corridor allowed access to the dining, and reception areas without going outside. The 24-hr restaurant with tasty selections at reasonable prices was an added bonus.

The room lighting was on the dark side, even with all the available lights on.

Super friendly staff! Motel has a 24-hour restaurant with pretty decent food! Parking outside the room door. Rooms also have a second door to inside hallway for access to front desk and restaurant. Room is large and pretty comfy. Free wi-if has pretty good signal. Excellent selection of TV channels. We ordered some dinner and the waitress ran it down to our room when it was ready—super nice! Also they had forgotten tartar sauce for the fish and chips and just when disappointment was setting in, there was a knock at the door—the front desk clerk was delivering the missing condiment with an apology. We hadn’t called to complain, they did this on their own. That little extra kindness really made our night after a 13-hour drive!

A little noisy close to the interstate. The little window AC unit struggled to keep up with a 100F day but for the most part kept the room comfortable. A couple of big comfy pillows to replace the little dinky ones currently in use would be a huge improvement.

I stayed her last year and was impressed. It doesn't look like much but it is great value. Everything works (fridge with freezer, TV, microwave) and is clearly well maintained. Seemed like a new shower and pressure is great. In better shape than many pricier properties I've stayed in. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I was alone (with my dog) and felt very safe.

Pillows are not good, could use cushier. Shower floor was very slippy, could use a sticky mat.

Rang bell at counter on two different occasions and no one came. Girl seen me the first time after a good 20 minute wait and came and helped me, much appreciated. Second time at check out the next morning, after 20 minutes no one came I had to get on the road so I left.

Staff we did have contact with were very nice and accommodating. For being an older hotel, it was clean and had a nice lounge/restaurant hooked on which was super convenient.

Bed was uncomfortable, and the pillows were from 1980 and the dish went out but it was due to a.storm that hit.

The room featured both an entrance to an interior hallway and an external door to the parking lot which was very nice. The decor in the public space had a folksy charm to it with taxidermied fish and fowl.

The walls were a bit thin allowing me to hear guests above and on either side; the benches along the front of the building allowed strangers to sit directly outside my window and smoke.
