Our room was on the first floor, on the end, one of the family suites. It had an outside entrance and we were able to park our car very close to our room door. It was very quiet. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The room was very large, clean and everything was in good working order. The main beds were surprisingly comfortable. I say surprisingly because when I first climbed in, I thought it was going to be a rough night, but the mattress must offer the right amount of cushion and support because I woke up with very little hip or back pain. I'm a side sleeper with arthritis in my entire back.
The third bed was a rollaway, which was expected but the way it was oriented to the wall, my son's pillows wouldn't stay on the bed and he said he felt like it was slanting downhill. We were going to move it but it was heavy and seemed like the wheels were locked. I think if we had called the staff they would have come to try to fix the issue for us but it was late, so my son just laid the other direction. He still wound up with pillows on the floor but seemed to sleep ok.

This is a nice, clean hotel with comfortable beds. I wasn't expecting too much from breakfast as it was described as 'grab and go' but there were actually lots of choices and we thought that it was a better breakfast than some we had encountered on our trip. A nice stopover after driving the Bear Tooth highway and Red Lodge is a quaint town. Bogart's in town served a great Mexican meal.
It was just on the edge of town so it's a 20 minute walk to pubs and restaurants. Having said that, there's a good pavement and we felt perfectly safe. Saw some deer eating peoples lawns!

The one bedroom cabins are beautiful log construction. Nicely laid out with generous amount of space. Cozy gas fireplace. Drying ski gear in front of fireplace worked great. How the cabins are arranged in a group would be fun for larger groups needing more than one cabin. Being able to use pool and hot tub in main building after skiing was nice. Town of Red Lodge is quaint. Good dining options for a small town!
Pull-out sofa bed was not very comfortable for teenager. Front desk is not 24 hour, which would be fine if the check in person wasn't so grumpy when you call for check in at 10:50 pm. We had notified the property in advance that we would arrive between 10 and 11 pm, so being made to feel like we were causing a problem when we arrived was an unpleasant surprise. The quality of the rest of the stay made up for the less than friendly welcome, however! Would still highly recommend a stay in the one bedroom cabins.

Breakfast was fine and a good selection and easy to get to and take back to room. Would have liked a little more fresh fruit. We bought our own bananas. Nicole, who was the lodging host a couple days, was very friendly, and informative by giving us some excellent restaurant suggestions and just a very pleasant person!
Thought the pool water was toooo cold! We arrived about 9:30 pm so we called the phone number on the door. We didn’t mind the short wait but the lady host that came to check us in was not friendly or welcoming.

Grab and go breakfast was okay. Room was comfortable enough and the connecting door between our two rooms was a plus.
A couple spiders in rooms. People smoking right by front door. AC unit was a little glitchy. No staff on-site when we arrived (we arrived after 11:00, but it still seemed odd for a motel that size). So we called the number on the door and someone came in ten minutes....so that was odd but not a big issue. Staff was helpful enough but didn't seem happy we arrived so late and messed with their mojo.

Clean and comfortable room. Nice and helpful staff. Good location at the start of the Beartooth Highway, yet relatively quiet - even in the rooms facing the road the traffic can be heard during the day, but it completely ceases at night. Grab-on breakfast, which you can eat in your room.
Very poor and unstable wifi. Breakfast was too much on the sweet side (I would add more savoury items for some variety).

Check in was quick and not fussy with good direction from a friendly clerk. I was able to park near the entrance and make my way up 2 flights of carpeted stairs and down a well-lit hallway to my nearby room. The room was clean, and the queen bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows and covers. A multiplug usb outlet was on the nightstand. Lighting was adequate. A cool 3 dimensional wood carving of black bears hung above the bed. Bathroom was clean and supplied with soap in dispensers along with basic shampoo and conditioner and a few other items like makeup remover and cotton swabs. Strong water pressure from a basic shower head. Hair dryer worked well for its small size. Towels were clean and fairly soft. The mini fridge was compact but adequate for my needs. I really appreciated the newer plush carpet I felt safe to walk barefoot on. I enjoyed a baseball game on TV, and the window opened to a few trees and the sound of the nearby creek. I never heard any neighbors except for some momentary voices in the hallway. The indoor pool looked inviting although I did not indulge. I was given 2 brass room keys that were also used to gain entry to the building. A Do Not Disturb sign allowed me to sleep in the next morning. Check out was a welcome 11 a.m. I look forward to staying here again and highly recommend this inn!
I missed the grab and go breakfast that ended at 9. Wish it was around til checkout. An adjustable shower head and curved curtain bar would be nice. The newer wall heating/cooling unit works well but is a bit noisy so I turned it off which was fine during the shoulder season.

We stayed for 3 nights upon arrival and the room we booked was in the hotel itself. The bed was very comfortable and the room clean. As for the location in our opinion it was the best for pulling a truck and trailer for sure. There was a gas station with a car wash next door and across the street there was a free standing Box Car restaurant that served great food with seating outdoors next to the water. Upon returning to the Beartooth 2 nights later for the final night of our stay we had booked a Cabin instead. Holy Moly it was FANTASTIC. If I had known this I would have probably payed the extra for the first 3 nights only because of the amount of driving we had just done the ammenities in the cabin (grill, living room, kitchen) would have been nice. Thus saying Beartooth is a great place. The staff is also very pleasant and very helpful. The breakfast is grab and go which suited us perfect and the coffee was better then anticipated. The pool area we did not use but I will say that it appeared clean and was being used by others. We have already recommended The Beartooth to future travelers. We were with a group of 36 and stayed because of our late decision to join the group for a week of ATV riding. We could have stayed at the KOA in a cabin but the price was not only more but it had no restroom facilities for a very hefty price. So glad we made the choice for this location instead. Thank you BEARTOOTH.

We stayed here for one night while waiting for the Beartooth Highway to reopen after the recent flooding. The location was great, just on the outskirts of downtown and en-route to the highway. The bed was comfortable and the room was spotless. We slept later than we expected and missed breakfast, so I can't comment on that, but I'd definitely stay here again while in Red Lodge.
The coffee pot wasn't great, but that's not a deal-breaker...there are some great coffee shops in town, and we visited one to get adequately caffeinated.

The king bed was very comfortable, the cabin layout worked well for our family. The cabin had all the amenities we needed. The view was good, deer walked by our windows daily. The location is good between the town and going up to the mountain. Love the little porch to sit and sip coffee.
The pull out couch bed was not comfy for four nights, thin mattress, could feel the bar underneath.
