I have never felt more welcome at a hotel than at the Quality Inn. The owners operate this hotel as if it were their own home. It was clean, quiet and excellent value for the money. I will definitely stay here when I am in McCook again.

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Got us checked in quickly.
The only issues were the two dead bugs I found on the bathroom floor behind the door, and a towel hanging from the door that may or may not have been used. Other than that, it was a great night of sleep and comfort across from an amazing restaurant and lounge (Coppermill) in the middle of nowhere Nebraska.

The staff was super friendly and very helpful.
The breakfast was cereal and frozen burritos. Considering we were staying for a holiday weekend we expected more out of the “hot breakfast” that was advertised. They were also serving expired frozen milk which only added to the disappointment. One of our rooms didn’t have comforters on the beds so it was quite cold some of the nights.

The office staff was great and very kind. The location is convenient and in a safe area
There was a huge gap between the door and the frame on the bottom where you could see a large amount of light shining through. The TV was messed up and distorted the picture on the screen to where you couldn't watch it. You could hear all the movements of the people on the floor above. In addition, for a pet friendly motel, you are charged a fee for having your pet where most pet friendly places do not have additional charges.
