Motel 6 North Platte - East

The motel is a newer building. The room was in a clean condition. The room looks a lot brighter than the older rooms of the original Motel 6's. The bed was firm and steady. The price was cheaper than the other hotels.

The elevator was jerky when running. The motel was unable to keep out the freeway noise. Could hear noise from one of the other rooms.

Looks like a new property, very clean and modern, right off of I80. Wonderful TV with good channel selection. Great lighting in the room.

Since we checked in kind of late around 9:30 PM the only rooms that were left were on the first floor. This made me realize that the walls, ceiling, floor, and door must be pretty thin because at 6:30am I could hear people talking in the hallway talking/walking, someone filling their cooler at the ice machine, someone in the room above us walking with heavy shoes or maybe heels, and people entering and exiting the side door of the building. I could just be a light sleeper but it felt like these people were mere feet away from me. The sound is probably further perpetuated by the fact that the floors are some kind of laminate. Also, no simple amenities like a hairdryer, shampoo/conditioner, or even a tissue box..

Convenient location, near the highway but not with excessive traffic noise. Property was extremely clean, quiet, and felt safe. Building appeared to be new construction and parking was ample. The shower rocked! Pet friendly with nice laminate flooring for easy cleanup & fewer worries about previous pets that may have stayed over. Friendly staff! Excellent value for the money!!!

Bed was slightly hard but totally do-able. Pillows could be better/more supportive. Room was smallish but again, totally do-able especially for the price.

I appreciated the clean, comfortable, pet friendly accommodation. I really like carpet-free rooms. Floors without carpet can be kept clean. This property also has a nice area behind it to walk a dog. Close to restaurants, gas stations and interstate for convenient travel.

It was a clean facility. Built very recently and the hotel staff was friendly. Also liked that it was right off the highway. Since I had a long drive it was nice.

The room was supposed to have a microwave. I had packed leftovers in a cooler to have for dinner. So not having a microwave in the room was inconvenient.

This Motel 6 (Studio 6) was new and was working through a few growing pains. I was very happy with the motel. I especially like that coffee was ready at 430 am, as I often leave a motel before coffee/breakfast is ready.

There was a discrepancy between what you said I would pay and what I was charged. Your confirm said I would pay $63.99 for room and $3.26 for tax, a total of $67.25. I was charged the same room price, but I was charged three taxes totaling $9.11, for a total of $73.10. This is not acceptable; what are you are willing to do about this?

Cleanest and best Motel 6 I've stayed at. Nothing fancy, but had all I needed at a great price. Bed was comfortable, if just a little firm. Check in and out was quick.

Room is smaller than your normal chain hotel rooms, and a bit noisy in the room. I could hear neighbors tv going till wee hours. At this price point, I have earplugs in my travel bag for that type of problem.

Beds were very comfortable. Shower head was great. It had awesome pressure. Room was practically brand new. Motel was practically brand new. Staff was very nice.

Room was extremely small. It did not have a lot room to move around beds. They do not offer a good selection of television channels.

Even just being a 2 star it was great service, a comfortable room and clean bathroom, hot water was nice, the price was incredible for day of booking at 115 for two nights.

Other than a small amount of channels, nothing else to complain about.

We were pleasantly surprised to find out that Studio 6 is a more modern version of Motel 6. It was clean & the staff were nice. The room is small & basic but definitely a good value for the money. I would stay there again.

Would’ve liked another pillow & maybe a softer bed but I can’t complain as again, it was a good value for the money.
