The staff was very attentive to our needs and checking in and out was great. Liked the history of an old hotel. There was never a long wait for the one elevator to take us up to our floor. The parking lot was full on Friday night but it looks like that problem will be solved with the new lot on the side is finished. Also we had our dog with us and being pet friendly was great. Beds were comfortable.

The free breakfast was just a choice of one meal every morning. That meal was okay but would have een nice to have something different. The room was smaller then it should be with two beds in there. kind of crowded but we needed the double beds. As a non-smoker the smoker was pretty strong especially on Friday night on the first level

The hotel is very cute. It is in the middle of a small town, and it is the highest building in the town :) Every room is named after some movie actor, and has pictures of this actor in the room. People who are working in this hotel are super nice and friendly. The room we had was a bit worn down, but it was clean and overall pleasant. And for breakfast they give you a coupon for Denny's, which is downstairs in the building. This is much better than the usual breakfast options in American hotels :)

The sign on the window says you can not open them. So the fresh air comes only from the air conditioning system, which is not always good. At least when the weather is nice outside.

such a fun and quirky place. Full of cool historic touches and photographs. The room is very small but for a brief visit it's just fine. Comfortable bed and good shower. The wifi is pretty bad but we managed with a personal hotspot. All of the ladies at reception were super nice. The welcome drink and free breakfast at the downstairs Denny's were really nice bonuses. There's a small park a couple of blocks away which was great for our dog and the hotel is very dog friendly. Great stay if you're passing through this cool little town.

The room was spacious and very clean. The suite had an add on room that made it really nice for our children and us. Having two bathrooms was great! The beds and the pillows were very comfortable. The view was nice from the windows of the master bedroom.

The only problem I found was the door connecting the bathroom and add on bedroom to the master bedroom. Every time someone went in the joint bathroom and turned on the light at night, it lit up both rooms. We could also hear what was going on in the bathroom and that was not good.

It's a very cool old hotel with lots of history and cool stuff to check out. Has a casino on property.

It's a very old building. You get what you get, The rooms are very different from new hotels that are all pretty much cookie cutter rooms. These rooms are not like that. The bathrooms were very small and the shower and water pressure was less than perfrect. However, you have to be prepared for some trade-offs when you stay at a place like this, and I for one was more than willing to do that because of the coolness and uniqness of the property.

The young lady that checked us is was very friendly and went over the top to engage us in conversation. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would certainly stay there if I was to come out that way again.

I know it can't be helped but I could still smell the cigarette smell in the hallways. The room was a little small for more than two people. There was not any fral desk to work from while working on my laptop.

The staff are very accommodating and friendly, the room was lovely and quiet (on the back of the hotel) and the bed was comfortable. The hotel has masses of (recent) history with many nods to the past, both in the casino and lining the corridors to the rooms (and in some of the rooms themselves). Breakfast was good as it was via a Denny’s voucher which entitled you to a basic ‘slam’ and a coffee, or $5 off any item. I’d happily stay there again.

The wifi was very weak and unreliable (we were on the 5th floor) but was fine lower down and Denny’s wifi worked fine when you’re in the restaurant. The shower was particularly feeble, but did the job eventually. A few more power points in strategic places would have been welcome too. We also had missing light bulbs in the over-bed wall lights.

I absolutely love the classic brick building from 1929 , I love old hotel's because they are sound proof. I'm a light sleeper but slept like a baby, can't beat the downtown location. Also a free drink and denny's breakfast. My only complaint was the service at denny's, not worth it , it took 15 minutes to even get acknowledged. One hour all together from the time I went in to leaving, and that's just me .

Horrible denny's restaurant, to slow, took 15 to even get my coffee. One hour from the time I went in to leaving, and that's just me .the advertised free breakfast isn't that simple, I ordered toast and they said it's not included, so you really only get five dollars off you're order . Love the hotel but will never take the worst denny's in my life and I travel year round since 1975.

Breakfast tasted great but the Denny’s team needed some work. The hotel is funky with lots of character and characters running around the casino on the main floor. I like that but others may not. It is a historic building and rooms are smaller and fixtures somewhat out of date.

Training necessary for restaurant staff. Not like corporate motels that are super clean and modern, which some may not like.

Very helpful and friendly staff! Happy to have elevator. Staff provided roll away bed since a room with 2 beds was not available. Loved that we were given tickets for complimentary drink!

complimentary breakfast was only one option. although it was a lot of food we just wanted a bowl of oatmeal or yogurt or bagel so just skipped breakfast altogether. would be nice to have options.
