I liked the location & the condition of the property. Room was very nice.

It was a little hard to get out of the parking lot. You had to back across the parking lot. The toilet in my room kept running. The refrigerator was loud & kept coming on.

Scottish Inn is a basic family motel, but the room was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. The sheets were quality. The mattresses seemed new and were very clean (yes, I pull up sheets and check mattresses. I always check for bedbugs. There were none and no evidence of them in the past.) The receptionist was a delight and very friendly. Our room had almost no windows or natural light, but we weren't there for the view. We needed a good night's sleep on our road trip. Everything in the room worked. We loved having a ceiling fan. We appreciated that they allowed our dog to stay for only $10 extra. It was quiet and felt safe. Go to the Griddle restaurant kitty corner down the street for breakfast. It's wonderful.

More windows, less stuffy air in the room. But it didn't bother us. We aired out the room and it was fine.

Convenient to food and casinos

I booked a price through booking.com and the Scottish inn would not honor the price I booked rooms for. It was not my fault it was lower than the room rate but I ended up compromising and paying much more then the booking. Then when I went to go into my room their were already people in the room this was embarrassing and unacceptable! We should've left as this was strike 2 but we stayed due to my mom being to tired to travel any longer. Air conditioner had moldy smell and was too loud to sleep with on. Beds were not very comfortable infact we were afraid the bed was going to fall off frame and fall to the floor as we could hear springs popping when we moved in the bed

I was very pleased with Scottish Inn, Winnemucca. Check in was easy and the room was clean and spacious for $86.00. I especially liked the comfortable recliner which was in the room. Easy walking distance to all the little town of Winnemucca has to offer. Breakfast was Continental style and you had to take your items back to the room to eat.

For the price it was just fine as it was.

The location is perfect. In the middle of town walking distance to just about everything. Parking is not the best if they are full. The guy that checked us in was very nice but when we decide to stay another night he told me one amount and when i went to pay the lady charged us more.

The parking and we had black ants in our room everywhere even in the bed.

Everytime I get a chance to travel through whinnemucca nv. I have always stayed at Scottish Inn. I like the location, the staff is awesome and always friendly. And a perfect location to little shops to shop at. I have no complaints about Scottish Inn in Whinnemucca nv.

This property is very old, but all I needed was a shower & a bed, so my needs were met. It was clean & had comfy pillows. There were plenty of towels, paper, tissues, shampoo & soap, & the lady at check-in, Chris, was very nice & I felt welcome. The area was a bit run down. It was quiet & I was able to sleep in. As I said, my needs were met.

Very clean, friendly staff. Comfortable accomodations. Got a double for single price. Very affordable price, yet very nice place to stay. Will definitely recommend and stay again. Friendly, welcoming, clean and affordable. Pleasantly surprised. I love to patronize local establishments, definitely not disappointed.

Everything was great!

The location was where we wanted to stay. The staff was very helpful and nice. She recommended a great place for dinner. We stayed coming and going to our destination. An older motel but a very good place to stay overnight.

Good location for traveling. The beds seem clean. The floor was dirty. It was fine for a night.

My socks were full of dirt or dust on the floor. This is advice to wear something on your feet.
