We had just come back from the Chaoma Train ride and were hungary and needed some food for 4 adults and two children. Andrew the receptionist that checked us in was very helpful in giving us ideas of where to go for a sit down meal of where and how to order take out. We did not pick up utensils but Andrew happily provided those for us. He also answered several other questions we had during our stay and certainly exceeded our expectations for a one person show. everything was perfect!

Everything was good, Two days before of the reservation day I sent and email requesting some information and I got a response the same day, when me and my wife arrived to the hotel, we liked the outside view of the hotel, the staff was very professional and friendly, the registration paper was ready and it took just a couple of minutes to do it, the room was very clean and comfortable, we were very happy to stay in Branding Iron Motel.

I so much enjoyed talking with the staff who were very helpful and accommodating. I had arrived by bus and didn't have a car. The hotel is a short walk from the center of Chama -- IF it is not pouring down rain. But it was, and one of the staff gave me a lift back into town to get the bus. I very much appreciated all their kindness to me.

The motel provides comfortable basic accommodation. There is coffee in the room and an abundant supply of ice. I enjoyed it. But, if you are the type who needs to have a mint placed on your pillow before retiring, then don't go to Chama. But forsake the frills and enjoy the people and the attractions around town, particularly the steam railroad. It is a great spot.

Good location very clean too bad the restaurant was not opened it was in the middle of the city close to everything the train some restaurants enjoyed eating at Fina very good food The staff was excellent

If They could've had a fridge in the room it would've been perfect

The location was great! The lady at the front desk (Tessie) was most friendly and helpful.

No irons in the room. There was only one iron and we didn’t see it for a couple of days. No fridge or microwave. Must go up the road to get decent eating places.

Happy to see this motel open again. Room was clean. Bed was comfy.

Lack of ice machine was very upsetting. It would have been so nice to have the restaurant open. There are so few places to eat.

Good location and helpful staff. Was able to pay with cash.

Nothing bad really. Just a pity the restaurant had closed a few years back, so no breakfast provided and locations in Chama to get breakfast are limited. .

Rooms desperately need to be updated. Old dark red carpet throughout, older style bedspreads, very uncomfortable beds, bathrooms need to be updated or at least cleaned thoroughly.

Branding Iron was a perfect place for our family get-together. Plenty of outdoor space and the staff was friendly, helpful and courteous; made us feel right at home.

The best part was the cleanliness. The staff was very nice and friendly. They also let us put a trash bag into their dumpster.

The landscaping needed some work and the outside paint job needed to be redone. The heater fan was blowing at bed level.
