The hotel is located in the centre of p very close to the museum of silver city.the staff, in particular Laure at Reception,were extremely helpful and professional . The breakfast is good, with a waffle machine,as well as bagles,6, cereals as well as fruit juices, coffee and hot water. The hotel's bedrooms are spacious and comfortable . Finally, there is a movie theatre a few minutes away.. I have no hesitation in staying again n at this delightful hotel that knows how to treat people .

Parking was a slight problem

Quiet. Good old construction, heavy, solid, nothing flimsy. Good bed, especially great sheets and blankets -- all cotton, wonderful quality. Plenty of good towels. Window that opened to fresh air. Everything needed for a comfortable stay.

A bit too much heat, not adjustable. Bed was saggy in one spot, but not bad. The TV is not real TV, just lots of ads and the same reruns of programs over and over. Endless ads. Not really usable.

Very clean, beautiful entry and lobby. Elevator to upper floors, smallish rooms, but a comfortable size and bed. Small bath, good shower. Great location, walking distance from everywhere in town. Parking was kind of a challenge, but we always found a spot nearby. Breakfast choices were average, plenty to choose from though.

Off hand can't think of anything that I really expected or needed that wasn't available.

Loved the historic hotel and location. The hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. The dinning room was a great gathering place. The continental Breakfast had excellent options, including hard boiled eggs, waffles, Muffins, cereal and yogurt.

The only down side to a historic hotel is the size of the bathroom. While small, they were clean and recently updated.

Very nice décor, a mix of old and new. The rooms were clean. Loved being able to walk around downtown from the hotel.

There is no designated parking, just park on the street. They do have a drop off area in front of the hotel. However, this could be a problem if you are going there during a busy time. Luckily, it was very quiet when we were there. The hotel is big, it is really weird that they have no designated parking.

This is an old grand dame from the past done in Art Deco style of the 1920's. Room a bit small and we were there during an unprecedented heat wave that our in-room air conditioner had a tough time keeping up with. The location is excellent and once you park your car there is no need getting back into it to do anything in town. The town itself is very charming.

great location, friendly staff, very clean, room warm and comfortable, very appealing ambiance in hotel lobby and in general, huge tv, very nice breakfast with a lot of choices and even a waffle iron.

the only thing i didn't love was the bathroom is a bit outdated and i found the sink difficult to use for washing my face. i bent over the bath and used that faucet instead.

The Murray Hotel is a lovely historic facility located in the heart of downtown. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well appointed.

The only parking is on the street. There is no charge for street parking. There is reserved space for loading and unloading directly in front of the hotel entrance. In the evenings, the parking in front of the hotel was full and we parked on a side street nearby.

The room was clean and the environment was quiet. Very good. The continental breakfast was most welcome for our immediate needs. The coffee was near perfect and I would like to know where I can obtain some for my own use.

On booking I was allowed an early check in via email message. Our business in Silver was somewhat time sensitive. On arrival the desk clerk had no knowledge of this. Not permitted this early check in would have been very troublesome for us. We were about to depart for our appointment when the clerk came out to the car and said he had a room for us. Very nice of him and worked well for us. Lack of a parking lot will tell against you on some occasions, but I can't see anywhere to put one.

We stayed for three nights, and switched rooms each night since we didn't have a solid itinerary. All the rooms are the same price even though the rooms vary from a suite to a funky single king bed. The staff was wonderful in accommodating us.

The only thing that was a little difficult was the lack of space in the single bathrooms. Very little space to put toiletries, but other than that they were clean and functional.
