Really beautiful building in a historic and fully renovated location. I was absolutely astonished with the new DUMBO, beach walk, and park. Everything was great overall.

The water in the shower changed its temperature. It may be hot, then cold, then warm again. You need to book the swimming pool in advance. I was there for 3 nights and couldn't book a pool at all. But then I realized you can use the pool without booking, but you will not get a pool chair.

They charge €46 dollars a day amenities charge at the end of your stay which is not published on booking or arrival at the hotel which is very poor and distasteful. Pretty much all of the things within the amenities charge are things you expect to be covered in the expensive cost of the room or things you don’t use anyway Staff in the restaurant were poor, didn’t acknowledge us for at least 15 minutes on arrival and then spent most their time chatting to other staff rather than focusing on their customers

If quiet luxury is a thing atm then this optimises it. Staff who have personality, instantly making you feeling welcome and cared for. They provided so many moment where they didn’t just meet expectations but surpass it. like noticing me wandering (avoiding the gym if I’m honest) taking early morning photos and being invited to sneak to the roof top and catch the best sunrise over the city. And wow what views at any time of day. The city framed by Brooklyn Bridge which is quite spectacular and well worth paying the extra for a room with a view of the bridge. I slept with the curtains open and happily watched the world whizz by. Best of all, their showcase sustainability standards which are at every touchpoint in a non preachy way but instead exemplifies how every hotel can make even the simplistic of changes for the better without an ounce of quality being lost. This group have been carbon neutral in the US since 2018, before most of us knew how to spell sustainability! Its comforting to know.

The pool is smaller than you imagine and whilst I was lucky enough to be there whilst it was free to laze all day, I understand they are about to put a time limit of 2 hours per person in place which I. one sense I understand the approach but in another, if I had just one day to sit and slow down I would be upset at having to move. That said alongside there are plenty of big lounge chairs wrapped around three sides of the building so more than enough options to loose a day in one of those instead. just not recommended if sun-worship is your thing!

The view of Manhattan from the room was EPIC, the most amazing picture frame window, night, day, in the autumn sun and in the pouring rain! Just awesome.

The staff. You'd think it was the Berghain. A level of bravado just didn't sit comfortably with me, especially after a days travel from London and a problem with the room. They did take care of things, but rather frustratingly only as I was checking out.

We had a really great time at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge. We were quite shocked a little bit as the room that we first went was a mess with sofa on one of the beds and it didn’t look clean at all. However, the staff was very nice and helped us informing the manager and we got upgraded to the room with a better view. When we checked out, the staffs might have been very busy due to the high traffic of guests so no one helped us moving our luggages to the lobby. We got help in a very last minute before taking the taxi. In overall, we had a really pleasant stay at the hotel and would love to come back.

Wonderful location. Room very clean . Staff very helpful . Will go back for another visit .The view is exceptional .

the view, the staff, the location were all great. rooms were beautifully appointed. staff really were prepared to make an effort.

the rooms on the 8th floor were noisy enough to make it difficult to sleep. I could hear people shouting and laughing. room service took 70 minutes to arrive.

Asked for an upgrade and got an amazing room on a high floor with views of the Brooklyn Bridge. Very spacious and interior design amazing. The whole feel of the room was relaxing. The facilities and range of meal options very good and the rooftop pool a bonus with high temperatures.

Staff shortage on the rooftop where we booked a table for a few hours and food and drinks service erratic and they reduced the cost because of this which was appreciated. Businesses are struggling with staff as tourism bounces back so understand the situation.

Loved the atmosphere of the hotel, very environmentally friendly, beautifully decorated . The Brooklyn Bridge view from our room was fabulous!

All light controls in the room were on one switch making it impossible to turn on only one light in the room. All the lights were either on brightly or too dim. This wasn't a huge problem for us, but was annoying to keep accidentally switching off all the lights when trying to adjust the brightness.

Love the view, poolside, excellent service. Everything was great . But very overpriced. Minimum to spend is $100 per person at the restaurant nevermind how much you spend to spend a night. Valet should be included. I waited for 45 min in line to check in because there wasn’t enough staff. That shouldn’t happen. With the prices you charge staff should be available at all times. The view was stunning tho and great service when you did have the staff. Whether than that. Stay here once get the experience enjoy the view and be out.
