Ranger Inn Alva

They've done a lot of upgrading to this old strip motel. Beds and sheets are new and very comfortable .shower had new surround and sink new counter top. With everything concerned, it was a very fair price.

Still needs paint, and plumbing fixtures were old, but worked fine. Carpet was dirty, showing on our white socks.

The staff was really nice. The bed was super comfy

The Ac/ Heat was a loud unit and seemed to not work real well . I would bring a pillow or two, if you like to prop up to watch TV. Would be nice if they could replace them as well . It was still a very good,clean , and safe place to stay .

Pleasantly surprised! It is an older motel in a tiny town. My expectations were not high. But the room was nice and clean, the king sized bed was new and very cozy and the bathroom had been updated recently. The front desk lady was great and let us check in a little early with no trouble or added fees. All-in-all, a very nice stay.

It was in a good location easy to find and easy to get in and out of. No complaints. The person at the front desk was very friendly. The price of the room was very reasonable in my opinion. I didn't need anything fancy or upscale just needed a bed and a restroom where you can set the temperature where you want it.

The Shower head hose leaked where it connects to the pipe that comes out of the wall. Other than that no complaints. There really isn't anything that I didn't like.

It is clean, American owned, and has been updated. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The bed was comfortable. There was a small couch that made into a bed as well. We will be staying here again.

The bathroom vanity didn’t have much room, but was sufficient. The toilet and shower room was small. But, I am nitpicking to find things we didn’t like. I will say, there are area workers who stayed there and the walls are thin, so we heard their trucks start up and doors open and close early in the morning.

Location was good, especially if going to the University. No breakfast, but there were options close by. I also liked the hand held shower head, not something you ever see in chain hotels, but if you have one at home, you are used to it.

I thought I book a double bed, but had a single and a pullout. I was warned about the love seat needing a cover; it was a place to sleep for one night.

The room was clean and outfitted attractively. The office staff was very helpful and recommended a nice place to eat. The price was outstanding based on what others wanted. Nice place to stay.

The only detraction was the chair for the computer table needed recovering, but was perfectly adequate for the job.

The bed was very comfortable. The motel is in an ideal location with plenty of restaurants in the general area and easy to get in and out of. The price was good considering Inflation and what you get.

No. Breakfast. Room was clean and bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept on in a motel. Bring your own pillow. Staff very nice
