Motel 6-Walterboro, SC

The fact that it's a pet friendly hotel is #1. It was immaculately clean and the bed was very comfortable. The morning and evening staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We would 100% stay here again.

Really nothing but it was a little difficult to find because we arrived late at night. There is a long driveway to get to the motel and the turnoff is very dark. It's not the Motel's fault because in all likelihood someone owns the bottom of the driveway and may not allow them to install lights or another sign.

This older style motel was located beside I95 with easy on and off (with adjacent gas station). Our room was surprisingly quiet. It appears to have been painted inside and out, so it gives one a pleasant first impression. This, together with the brightly lit perimeter was welcoming. Our bed was comfortable, the shower was hot with great pressure. The microwave and fridge worked well. The furniture was basic, but adequate. Everything was clean and tidy. The lady at reception was pleasant and helpful. Although they don’t offer breakfast, coffee and juice were available at reception from 6AM.

It would have been great to have a little coffee/tea maker in the room.

Good location right off the interstate. What was most surprising to me was that there was room service even though I only stayed for two days. I've stayed at way more expensive hotels the past few years and everbody still blames Covid for not providing room service. So a cheap Motel 6 has better service than other more expensive hotels. Newly renovated rooms, only the bathroom was outdated, but it was very clean, so no minus there. Definetly recommend this Motel 6.

Very conveniently located just off of I95. Room furnishings are spartan but clean. Beds are comfortable. Plenty of parking. Ice readily available. Soft drinks available in lobby.

Not much choice of dining. There is a Cracker Barrel restaurant directly across the street, but there are not many other choices. We did find a Chinese restaurant about two miles into Walterboro that provided takeout meals large enough for two for under $10.

The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. It exceeded our expectations and will stay there again in the future. I only wish that it had a continental breakfast, but, of course, the price would not have been that cheap. They do have a Cracker Barrel across the street so that was good. The price was the cheapest that we have paid for a hotel in years! It was the first hotel that I have stayed in that did not have carpet and I liked the flooring it had in it.

We left at 2:30AM, so no breakfast if it was even offered. Convenient location, recently remodeled, pet friendly budget motel. The young lady at check in attentive and courteous. Adequate parking for a vehicle towing a cargo trailer.

Our room had a king size bed with night stand on both sides, however, power was only available on one side. Since my wife and I both use Cpap machines she could not use hers. We reserved a king bed rather the two double/queen size beds as that configuration often times only has one night table. The room didn’t have an alarm clock or hair dryer.

There was no breakfast available at the motel, however there are many options around the area to choose from. We ordered from Cracker Barrell, which was right across the street. Bed was comfortable and the area was quiet. Nice area for pets to use the bathroom. Fairly inexpensive for a nice place to stay. Parking area was well lit at nighttime. Staff was friendly and courteous.

The place was conveniently located off highway. The check-in staff were very nice and responsive. The room was very clean. Bed was comfortable.

The refrigerator was noisy. The towels were thin and scratchy. The curtains were nice and thick, but didn’t fully block the outside lighting, so the room wasn’t fully dark.

I like the price, location, security. Cleanliness. Also like the way they kept up on their renovations they did years ago. Most places renovate and forget about the upkeep. Maybe that's why their so busy all the time Have been staying there about 8 plus years.d

Not much to say.

The location was perfect, right on the way, easy on and easy off. The clerk was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the linens were nice and fresh. The bed was comfortable. The facility was able to accommodate our special request for ground floor without an issue.

I cannot thing of anything that did not meet or exceed our expectations.
