Very nice, charming boutique hotel right in the Domain in Austin. Great location, great look & feel of the hotel. Very unique-looking rooms which have everything you need, including ice in the freezer. The on-site restaurant was also very good (even had vegan options!). Nice pool area, also great that they light firepits at night, nice cosy feeling.

It is a bit noisy… As all the rooms go out to the atrium you can hear people talk etc. at night. Also, when people go back to their rooms and walk past yours, you hear them talking quite loudly (because the window goes out to the atrium/walkway and you can hear the cleaning staff roll on the boardwalk with their carts in the morning. Same with people rolling their suitcases along the boardwalk. This is not terrible but it might bother people who are sensitive to noise. Price is also a bit high, considering breakfast is not included. I appreciate that this is a special boutique hotel but still found the price a little too high overall.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Facility had so much comfortable space. The room was spacious and clean.

My family of 5 came in for dinner. Bartenders tending bar, but did not send anyone to serve our table. My daughter served water after we waited shortly. Still no one came to give menus or offer any assistance. Restaurant empty and several tables not cleared. We left and spent our money downtown Austin. Pool closed by the time we returned.

Food was good at the restaurant. I ate there once. There were group events most of the days I was there so it didn’t seem like breakfast was available to other hotel guests. Coffee in the room was decent though.

A little on the noisy side with events, kids and dogs playing in the evenings. Quiet time was enforced at 11, but it was very noisy until then. You must bring earplugs or earbuds if you want to rest before 11.

The staff and atmosphere are beyond incredible. They definitely pampered my Great Dane puppy. Nyx, my puppy, and I felt completely at home. We actually extended our stay. I am "one of those" who doesn't travel anywhere without my companion. How a staff treats pet guests speaks volumes, especially to people like me. Nyx and I have stayed at other hotel establishments. They weren't terrible, but what set the Lone Star Court staff above is they greeted Nyx by name our entire stay. She even played with the GM's puppy, Whiskey, while we chatted and had coffee.

Working from home, I frequently stay at hotels to switch up the atmosphere to increase production. The room is so peaceful, I got a lot done. Great thing, right? Yeah, except the wonderfully placed snacks tasted so stale, I had to check the expiration date. They weren't expired but they weren't enjoyable. Room service wasn't an option because the cost of the menu didn't match the expectation. LSC is surrounded by amazing restaurants and had cool food trucks so I guess they thought "just ok" food would be fine. But, at $200+ per night, you want better food.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The director of housekeeping was so kind and helpful with our needs. Pool was refreshing. The live music was great.

Didn't really care for the food. Wasn't prepared right, some cold and drinks were way too strong. At the end of the day after driving so far we just wanted a good meal well that didn't happen.

Customer service was great! It was very nice to have live music at the restaurant. The bartenders were a bit inattentive, but could have been that the restaurant was a little busy.

About breakfast, the pancakes were too small for the portion value, also would be nice to have other sausage options (turkey sausages would be a good option to have), also other milk options for coffee.

Such a cute place and loved the location. Secure property that requires key access to enter through any of the gates. Covid has hit hard and restaurant is only open 3 days - but so many options in area it wasn't an issue. I believe they are working out systems and/or training staff.

There aren't any windows that open, so ventilation doesn't exist - though there is a ceiling fan and ac/heat system. The cute 50's style fridge takes the place of mini-fridge and is stocked full with mini bar style bottles/drinks. They must not check it very well, because someone had drained at least 6-8 bottles and put them back empty. I wanted to make sure I wasn't charged.

The environment was fun and lively. Somehow it seems to work for kids and adults. I enjoyed the music playing in the afternoon and evening, I think it's conducive to a fun atmosphere, and getting people out and socializing. As one who enjoys nightlife (still at age 63 :-) ), it was very cool that that people were out later in the evening laughing, listening to music and having a good time. Too often a place has great potential, but turns into a ghost town after dark. The property theme is cool, well executed and maintained. It's very clean and staff seemed to be service focussed and willing to go a little out of their way for the guests. Example, the gentleman at the front desk lateish Saturday night checked on me a couple times while I was using the computer in the sitting area of the lobby, offering a beverage or more comfortable seat. I observed him doing the same with another guest as well.

I wouldn't say there is anything I didn't like about the property. I was a bit put off with the distance from the airport, and initial transporation options, but after looking on my own, I found affordable transportation that was convenient.

We love this hotel, is hated with allows for the kids to run around and have fun during our stay. The food was excellent. Live music was great.

It’s like a little escape right in the center of all the bustle, it’s a 5 minute drive/Uber to all the main restaurants and bars but far enough where the noise isn’t an issue. There are fire pits scattered on the property, and although the weather didn’t permit us to use the pool it looked very clean with plenty seating. The rooms were extremely spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and I would say a nice median between soft and firm.

My only complaint which wasn’t even an issue for us was the barn door style bathroom door could use some WD-40. I’ll add, this is by far the best property I’ve stayed at within the last year!
