La Quinta by Wyndham Bridge City

The staff was absolutely amazing!! The breakfast was amazing!! The room was very spacious and comfortable and clean. The pool was absolutely perfect! We even got to see alligators up close from the lake behind the hotel!! The kids really enjoyed that!! Most definitely will be coming back to stay!!

I loved everything!!

I loved that it was on the water and the first hotel when you come into town. The staff was super friendly and even upgraded my stay because they were a little over booked for the room I had originally requested. The hotel smelled amazing upon coming in and I wish I could figure out the scent to take home with me. Breakfast was wonderful and the room super clean.

Breakfast was wonderful (hello waffles) but when we got down there at 9am it had been picked over well and I would have liked some of the hot sausages to have been available.

very clean and accommodating. we arrived earlier than check in and the front desk clerk was exceptional and was able to assist with providing a room for us.

Everything was fantastic but if I could suggest that a spare blanket be provided as while we like to sleep with the temperature low, we prefer a blanket on the bed.

My first hotel hot breakfast since COVID began last year and it was your typical hotel breakfast bar but it tasted so good. I loved having biscuits and gravy. It's actually a beautiful location. Big deck in the back overlooking a pond and the wetlands in the distance. I've stayed in the summer before also and the pond has alligators which is cool. The deck is elevated so the gators are not dangerous to people at all. Lots of birds around there also.

One really small thing: My room was big but there was no table in the room other than the work desk (which I had covered with work all the time). Especially now, I get carry out and eat in the room but had to set my stuff on the work chair as my table. Even a small table would help.

rooms are very clean, spacious and tasteful. The setting next to the scenic bridge and the bayou terrace outside makes it a very special place. The outdoor pool is very nice too.

The only two little quibbles I have is the the windows need cleaning. The views are spoiled a bit by this. Weather there includes frequent storms so maybe it's hard to keep windows clean. The other concern I have is that some guests throw litter around the perimeter of the property onto the surrounding lovely wetlands. The hotel should find ways to keep this from happening or employ staff to pick up litter often.

Nice views of the late. If you can get a room on the lakeside. Sitting downstairs by the lake eating your lunch is really nice. Very nice and relaxing. I love free parking. Free Wi-Fi is also great. Great convenient location there are shops up the street and gas stations. And Walmart is here if you need it. Great for overnight stay.

I didn't like that the laundry was $2 to wash and dry.

I’m not a big fan of hotel breakfast.. so that is the only complaints. the eggs were yucky. but I’m not a fan of that type of breakfast.

This LaQunita was definitely one of the nicer locations I have stayed in. It was quiet and the rooms seem to have been recently redone as the decor seemed new and fresh. The best part was the cleanliness of the room and in particular the bath room. THANK YOU! It is clearly evident management is on top of his/her/their game when it comes to exceeding expectations with both the interior and exterior of the building.

No complaints here....maybe breakfast available until 11 on the weekends? Some of us sleep late. :)

The staff here is welcoming. The check-in process, always easy. The hot tub, hot and relaxing. The bedding is always comfortable and clean as well as the bathrooms. Great location and great value.

The pool had a lot of chlorine.

Staff was accommodating. Facilities were kept clean. Pool area was maintained as well.

The rail going into the hottub is no longer connected to the ground.
