The staff here is tremendous. We had a slight issue when we checked into the room, and they fixed it immediately by moving us to another room. The hotel itself has been nicely updated on the exterior, including some unexpectedly modern colors. The room itself was fine, although the Direct TV had been disconnected. Once I found the end of the cable, it was easy to fix. Shower was good, bed was comfortable, breakfast was the expected cereal/packaged pastries/apples/bananas and do-it-yourself, Texas-shaped waffles. Pool was a bit cool, but it is early in the summer.

Whispering Palms was a nice, clean, affordable stay. The outside has fresh paint. The rooms are a nice size and clean. The show is a walk-in. The linens were clean, not the softest, but adequate. The family running the place were all very kind and provided great service.

This is a budget motel, and there’s really nothing that I disliked about this motel. The rooms were a little rough around the edges and the quilt was a bit worn.

Very nice lady at check in, was very friendly. Breakfast was continental, but very good with lots of choices. Had a very good dinner with good drinks for good price right next to the motel: Mexican restaurant.

Rooms could get an update, but room and bathroom were very clean.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, and the location was exactly where I needed. Several restaurants and fast food places nearby. The parking was private and I felt my vehicle was secure. All in all, I'd stay there again.

I went down for breakfast and all the doors to the lobby were locked. Since I had to leave quickly, I left without breakfast. The rooms are dated but clean. The shower head in the bathroom REALLY needed to be descaled.

Very clean, very welcoming hosts and complimentary continental breakfast starting nice and early at 6.30am. Sink was outside bathroom. Comfortable bed.

Nothing, we had a great one night stay. Ice machine wasn't working when we were there.

Very polite in the front desk you can't find more friendly people and i have travel a lot. Clean room with a confortable bed for a good night sleep and basic breakfast included. they even let me stay a bit longer without extra charge. good value for the money. very close to airport and they provide me with a ride to airport for free. I will defently stay again and its recommended.

Barry(The Bird) at the front area was amazing . All the rooms are updated and look Great. New colors for the buildings and trim looks great. Staff was professional, check in and out was quick and easy.

Two story Motel. Got a room on the upper floor which was good as the floor made some noises when walking around. Thus lower floor guests may be disturbed. My room was quiet, no road noise; no other guests that misbehaved. There was a limited continental breakfast. Good WIFI.

The choices of the continental breakfast were a bit limited.

This little motel in Del Rio is a nice, vintagey place to crash for a few days. It is super comfy, has cable, great internet to work, and the owners are kind and friendly Everyone who was staying here looked happy and relaxed.

The breakfast didn't look very appetizing, but then you can go hit any of the hundreds of places nearby for food. Not really an issue at all, just don't count on anything beyond coffee and a wrapped pastry. Again, not a problem at all, just not my thing. Everyone and everything was great.

The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had car troubles and Bob loaned me a car and did not ask for anything in return. I checked-in after midnight and received a courtesy late check-out. My room was clean and had good AC. I have never received better customer service from such good people. Thank you!
