Family Garden Inn & Suites

Family Garden Suites gives a different vibe to customers. Instead of the cold corporate, cookie cutter experience, Family Garden gives a more homey atmosphere to its guests. For one, it hosts an evening happy hour in its cabana hut near the pool. This alone gives a very inviting touch to the experience. The pool is surrounded by gardens and is welcoming. 'the office stocks a variety of food and drinks to sell to its guests, so that you dont have to get in the car and drive anywhere for last minute food items. the staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Cynthia, the manager sets a very welcoming vibe for her staff so that everyone seems happy to work there. They offer some business center tasks to its customers, too. Laundry machines fully functional. great pool, hot tub. coffee available late into morning in office.

Breakfast was a bit short, ending at 9 am. No low calorie food items such as oatmeal. outside patios around guest back door needing cleaning.

Everything was great from the staff at the front desk to housekeeping I want to thank the gentleman with the ponytail and black shirt that checked me in for having patience in explaining to me where my room and breakfast place was at being that it was my first time staying here.

What I didn't like was the new system that had the staff looking frustrated but never once did they disrespect anyone and also it would be nice that only the person checking in be in the lobby instead of having the whole family in there when there's not enough space for more than 6 people to be in there. Also beds were a bit too hard.

This was our 2nd time staying. I love the response I was met with when I had a issue with our room. We got in late and waited to resolve issue in morning. Cynthia the manager was amazing and went over and beyond to figure things out and then followed up and checked on us later! Even showed us more of the Hotel we hadnt seen our first stay! Beautiful waterfall, garden and loved the hot and cold tubs away from the lively pool. Room got nice and cold. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. Jerry working overnights is awesome and glad we got to see him during both stays. He is easy to communicate with and very pleasant.

The positives outweighed any thing I could complain about.

Room started out hot but got nice and chilly after awhile. Love the social hour for guest. Love how room was set up like 2 separate rooms giving my husband a bit more privacy from his brother who was also with us. Close to everything in town!

Breakfast was only cereal, waffles and sugarless kool-aid..very sad sight. On a Friday and Saturday more staff is needed to help with guests check in and guests going to desk for help. The 1 guy looked stressed bc so many people needed things at once with a super long line of annoyed looking guests. on weekends they really should have 2 people at desk. I felt bad for the guy and wish I could of jumped in and helped.

Rooms were set up pretty awesome. Once you entered, there was a bed, then the restroom followed, and the 2nd bed was at the end of the room. Having the restroom in the middle gives a little privacy to both beds, which I think is awesome. The hotel was clean and mostly well kept. There is a pool, playground, and gardens with a waterfall for families (kids) to enjoy, which is a plus. The hotel does a have "palapa" with happy hour, which includes free snacks for guests. Offering a breakfast is also a plus. The best part is having a late check out at 1pm so you don't feel rushed to leave.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! The room was spacious and comfortable, with two cozy beds that provided a great night's sleep. The terrace was a lovely place to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the relaxing courtyard One of the highlights of my stay was the social gathering in the evening. It was a great way to meet other guests and enjoy some delicious food and drinks. The staff was friendly and attentive, and made sure everyone had a great time. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The two beds, terrace, and social gathering in the evening all exceeded my expectations and made for a truly memorable experience. I can't wait to come back!

The property is very unique and unusual but in a good way.

the prices in the convenience store in the office are a complete joke 2 dollars for a 12oz can of coke 2 dollars for a bottle of water in which is sold in a pack of 35 @ Walmart for less than 6 dollars, if u stay here u might as well bring your own drinks because the greediness of the owners is for real I mean less than 6 dollars turned into 70 dollars that’s just wrong and it’s robbery especially when it’s 112 degrees outside these people need a humanity check on there selves

Overall the staff was friendly. The pool was a delight after a hot day. The room was roomy in space and also super dark and allowed for much needed rest. Please note, the beds are on a firmer side and the pillows are not the fluffiest, but are comfortable when combined together. The coffee served is also delicious. Overall, good value for the price.

We got locked out of our room and it took about an hour to get fixed, nonetheless, the staff was able to get the door open and find another room for us to stay in despite the place being packed.

The suites were great! I love that the beds are in separate rooms so it allows more privacy when you are traveling with children. The price is unbeatable. Unfortunately, we missed breakfast due to sleeping in but the late checkout on weekends is a great bonus. This was our third hotel in the area and it blew the other two out of the water. The playground and the evening reception were great too!

My only complaint is the beds were kinda hard and there wasn't any soap in the soap dispenser in the bathroom, but everything else was great! We will definitely be staying here again.

The open areas, pool. Also the meals at breakfast and dinner. Very clean, our room was two bedrooms instead of one big room, which was nice for the adults to sleep separate from the kids. We were late for breakfast, and the kitchen crew re-opened the kitchen and made waffles for the kids! Wonderful staff, clean hotel. Great value for the price. We will definitely stay again!

Laredo is a border town so it has its own unique clientele. This is the first hotel I have stayed in Laredo that didn’t feel scary.
