La Quinta by Wyndham Mission at West McAllen

Everything was good, great location, breakfast was what I expected. Beds were comfortable. Microwave and fridge were working fine. My children enjoyed the pool.

There were a lot of ants in my room's coffee table. Everything we put in there were almost instantly full of ants. Also, found a roach in the bathroom during the night. That took away my sleep that night.

I was disappointed with my first room that I booked at another hotel, because the room was not like it was were pictured on the website. I almost had to have a screaming match with the manager to cancel the dirty room. After I was able to cancel that nasty room,, I booked with LaQuinta at the last minute, for the exact same price as the other hotel and it was the complete opposite! I went from almost spending my time in a roach motel to a nice and clean establishment! The staff was great and accommodating with our welcoming, and it was definitely a breathe of fresh air to be treated like a human again.

Receptionist was very nice. They only had 2 rooms left, other hotels in the area were completely booked. It was a random stay, it was late 3/4AM we were about an hour from home, lady gave us toothbrushes and toothpaste. Overall good stay.

Only issue, if you can call it that. We couldn't seem to find a comfortable temperature for the thermostat. First too warm, then too cold, I think I woke up a little sweaty. Other than that, perfect stay.

I stay here often but since Covid had not been to the valley. premises is always clean and staff friendly

the pillows in the room where very uncomfortable. we know they had very comfortable pillows in the past

Naomi and Mia made this stay very pleasant they were very helpful answered a lot of questions about moving to the area and very friendly professional polite. Was happy that they served a good breakfast even during Covid times was very enjoyable stay overall

there was a manager who drove a white jaguar or could be a Chevy Malibu couldn’t tell but I think it had Jaguar emblem... that couldn’t stay off her phone to answer questions and didn’t have time for anything other than her phone calls she was rude and should get a job in a call center.

They didnt clean my room at all for the 5 nights we were there. Just the second or third day we got new towels and thats it. I dont remember how often they do housekeeping with the covid restrictions but i put my sign twice and never got my room cleaned. But overall great stay. We always stay there when we go down to the valley.

Breakfast was very good. Check in was very nice as well. Girl who checked us in was very knowledgable. Appreciate letting our cat stay too!

Key card quit working 4 times. Once, locking us out of our room, another time outside and we had to walk all the front to the front entrance to get in. They fixed it each time, but was frustrating.

Staff was super considerate and helpful!! Facility was very nice, spacious and clean. Also very quiet and pleasantly relaxing.

Difficult to get to. Bulb burned out in bathroom and only 1 towel for 2 people

Breakfast was OK. Eggs and sausage. Potatoes would've been a plus. I booked 3 rooms and the rooms only had enough coffee for 1 person. (1 caffeine 1 decaf) Really!!!
