This was my first time staying at a TRU and I will definitely be back. Everything was modern and clean. The lobby was really cool and my kids enjoyed hanging out down there just to get out of the room for a bit. The breakfast was also great and the friendly staff told us to let them know if our kids wanted something to snack on from the breakfast area after it closed. The rooms are small but not cramped and they have everything you need. Lots of storage areas. The bathroom was spacious and clean. They have one of the best hotel gyms I’ve used. It’s small but it has a lot of equipment to get a full workout in. 10/10 would recommend staying here!

Lovely stay at Tru by Hilton Northlake. The staff were super friendly and always eager to help. the rooms were huge and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Bathrooms were great with good water pressure and good complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was lovely too! Overall great stay and would happily stay again.

The only con was the location. We didn’t have a car which made it impossible to do anything. However we chose the hotel to be near family which then made it perfect.

We absolutely loved this hotel. It was small, super clean and the staff was so friendly. The evening host (blond) was so nice every time we saw her. As well as the morning host (dark hair). The food host named Margarite was so welcoming and made sure our breakfast was perfect. We’ve never been to such an attentive clean hotel. We LOVED the pancake machine!

We had no complaints

The desk staff was very responsive to questions. The breakfast was reasonable for a continental breakfast. The coffee was always hot and the flavored water available at the front desk was good. Hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body soap were provided in dispensers rather than small bottles, giving a better quality of soaps.

Lack of seating in the rooms made it difficult to gather.

I like the fresh clean feel. I liked the location. Being at the crossroads of two highways, it is located in the back of a group of hotels and sunk'en down a bit which helps with noise. It was very quiet and clean. They give free lemon water and ice tea all day long:)

No Charging station for EV's. But I heard it would be installed within the month

Location, location, location! Property is near fueling, highway, shopping. Staff is very friendly, gracious and accommodating. Hats off to Margarita (breakfast area) and Valerie (front desk).

I liked everything about the property but I think the bed in room 409 has lived it’s life and a new one is needed.

Breakfast was good and I loved the male young staff but since there was a line of 5 people at checkout he made a mistake and I was charged $177, plus $20 plus another $157 even i asked to get it canceled as my friend paid in Cash! He was not trained to know how to reverse the transaction. Please refund!! This is true. Heidi Hunziker

The young man was very helpful during breakfast but had no manager or senior terminal to assist. Definetly that needs remedy. He was very pleasant and helpful but I need my money back as he was paid cash by my friend as said already. Everything else was very positive. One item I noticed however in BR the shower gel dispenser says handmade not showergel.

I love the fitness facility equipment included here. I’ve stayed about Le times and use it while my kids had swim competitions. I like the clean, fairly new hotel, that is quite modern. very clean bathrooms

that there are no eggs at breakfast on Sundays. It’s so weird that they have a day with no eggs at breakfast and we eat eggs. not into just pancakes when there fir athletic competition

Very nice hotel, looks new, smells new, food was great great place to stay for the younger crowd, under 40ish.

No pool very disappointed should have read the description closer. I've traveled for years and haven't seen a hotel without a pool. Hummmm things have changed. Could have went next door for the same price with a pool.

Staff very friendly and accommodating during the ice storm. Made me feel safe and welcoming!

Because of ice storm, their truck didn’t come in so the snack bar was out of food and breakfast was out of fruit, healthy snacks. Manager could of made an emergency run to Walmart when roads got better. I had to go to the nearest QT myself
