The hotel was nicely decorated and clean. I’m very picky about cleanliness of hotels, and this one was great. Considering it’s in a town where everything has been run down by the oilfield, it was very nice. The location is right off of the interstate, which can be convenient, but it’s not as close to the heart of town like most of the other hotels. But Pecos is a small town and it doesn’t take more than 5 minutes to get most anywhere in town. If we have to stay in Pecos again, this would be the hotel we stay at.

The staff was a little hit or miss as far as their skills in dealing with the guests. Some were very friendly and nice while others were kind of cold. But the ladies working the lunch buffet really took the cake! They were very rude! And heaven forbid you ask them for ANYTHING! No matter how small a thing it is. And they would all start talking about guests to each other in Spanish. I speak Spanish and know they were not saying nice things about the guests. Had it not been for them, I would’ve given a perfect rating.

it was roomy and clean with two sinks, one inside the bathroom and one outside for convenience. Nice coffee maker with decent coffee…good breakfast. Mauricio, at the desk, was asked to clean off the outside furniture so it could be used and he did it right away. The room had two entrances, one from the inside hall as usual, and one to the outside where we were able to park right outside our room. A great value.

The Alpine Lounge, located between the two Best Westerns, one the “Swiss Clock” the the BW Plus, “Chalet” may or may not have been associated with the hotels. We encountered a server, Tiffanie, who needed either more training or more motivation to help customers. Rather than list all of the inadequacies, I’ll say I usually tip 20% but on a $40-something meal it was all I could to give her $5. I’m sorry to point her out like this but really—put a little heart into it!

Breakfast every morning was amazing. The pool was warm and indoor so it was enjoyable in all weather. The staff was excellent. They all had a smile on their faces and were helpful whenever we needed help.

The only thing I could think of as a negative was that there was no bathroom in the pool area. You either had to go to your room or the public restroom by elevator.

Everything was clean and very nice!

The night receptionist was a little rude. Not very happy to check us in. We also asked for extra pillows as our room counted with a sofa bed, but she told us they didn’t have any! Hard to believe as it’s a very nice big hotel, hard to believe they didn’t have at least 2 extra pillows.

The attendant in the office was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. She greeted me warmly and cared about all my concerns during my stay. I was very impressed with how professional and courteous she was to all that walked in.

The food served in the morning did not cater to vegans or any thing organic. I did like you had almond milk rather than only milk to offer for beverages. The room seemed dark w/o lights and I faced the noise from the freeway.

Everything was awesome!! The room was beautiful and spacious. Reasonably priced!! The area was quiet and clean. The pool area was a great size also in a separate indoor area. Jacuzzi was definitely my favorite part. We will be coming back soon!

I have no complaints!

The room was spacious. The rooms were clean and very well kept and updated. My family enjoyed the beds. Super comfy. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Great selection of foods. We enjoyed the pool the first night and our family had a blast. We enjoyed the hot tub.

I would have given it a 10/10 but the last night we were there we couldn't enjoy the pool. A big family took over the whole outdoor area, pool and jacuzzi. They were throwing stuff around, running around and being loud and rude. They used up all the towels. My family couldn't enjoy the pool or relax without someone throwing a ball in our direction and us getting splashed.

We stayed in the two bedroom suite with a king room and a room with two queens. It was perfect for our family of 6, and wow, was it huge!!!! The beds were comfortable and it was easy to control the room temperature. The breakfast was amazing (think pre-Covid breakfast buffet) and the lobby was decorated beautifully for Christmas.

There was only one bathroom in the suite, but there were 3 sinks, so it really wasn't that big of a deal.

Loved it!! It is so pretty! My room was huge and comfortable! Excellent breakfast! Biscuits, gravy, eggs benedict, lots of cut up fruit (I'm a grapefruit fan and there was plenty). This place is well cared for and has been for a while - it really shows. It is the best hotel I have stayed at - certainly for the price! The lobby is so nice! Clocks and art are hanging up. There are antiques to look at. What a nice dramatic spiral staircase (we skipped using the elevator). Flowers everywhere - I'm such a fan. We walked around inside and out, and it was pleasant! There is a spray bay (no soap) for your car. There is brick pavement - feels like another decade, from the old days. There is a pretty pool (with more leisure time, we might have opted to swim). I just wish it was closer to home so I could stay again sooner.

I have no complaints - everything was great!

Very nice property. Plenty of parking, included breakfast was very good. Pool was nice and it was great to have access to laundry facility and even a self-service carwash.
