Close to a lovely Downtown and several convenience stores, if you're unable to make your way to one of the local HEB's the nearby gas station is a great place to get some water and snacks for your first night (not that clean but it serves its purpose). The room was clean, no odor, comfy for two people staying for two weeks, great AC and kitchen facilities. Staff was very friendly and quick to assist with fresh towels or remagnetizing cards left next to a phone. Several very nice restaurants are within walking distance but the highway traffic (which IS audible from a facing room but not even louder than the AC), lack of clear crossing places and in my case the heat made an Uber an excellent choice for dining or shopping trips. The outlet mall a few miles away made for a lovely day out and Downtown has several bars and a great donut place. All in all a nice, quiet hotel with great room amenities and nearby venues.

The room could have used another chair (one armchair and one dining chair in a room for two people), a sponge or brush for hand-washing dishes and some more utensils in the kitchenette (no big problem, we picked up some plastic spoons and such our first trip to HEB).

The layout of the room was perfect. Bed was very comfortable.

Air conditioner in not very good working condition. It was warm in the room but we had 2 fans we bring anyway. Furniture needs some steam cleaning and maybe changing out. Couch and chairs very stained and some tears. Bottles in shower didnt contain what was written on them. Not enough linens in room for sofa bed and bathroom. None of these are bad, just a few suggestions. Maybe just some updating and better cleaning. There was a smell when you walked through the door of the lobby and in the room. Maybe some automatic air fresheners in hall and lobby. Although they were sold out and were busy!!! None of this made for a bad stay. We were still comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

The staff was exceptional - very friendly and extremely helpful. Lidia, Veronica and Amanda went above and beyond to help me out when a mistake on my part caused my employee to be without a room for another week as this location was completely booked and had no available rooms, and the situation was so that it made more sense for me to move to another hotel rather than him. I was already late to an appointment and had appointments scheduled every 30 minutes for the next 3 hours so literally had very little time to pack up my room and my frustration was very visible to these wonderful women. Just as I was throwing my clothes into my suitcase (literally) and gathering all the rest of my stuff (I don't pack light and had accumulated huge stacks of paperwork this trip), Veronica knocked on my door and asked me to stop packing and give them 10 minutes to see if they could work something out for me and they DID!! They certainly had no obligation to me to go to any effort to help me out, nor did I expect that they should or would, They just did!! They worked out several more issues before it was all over and quickly relieved my tension. These ladies deserve 50 stars, not just 5 and I am forever grateful. I am thankful and feel blessed that my journey (and mistake) brought such a wonderful experience to my day and put a smile on my face. They deserve an award and huge BONUS!! Thank you ladies!! You ALL ROCK!! Candlewood Round Rock you are blessed with such amazing staff! Appreciate them please - it is so very rare to find employees willing to go an extra mile or two these days simply to help out a frustrated customer they don't even know! You'll know me now - I will now be staying at Candlewood on my monthly trips to Austin!! Keep the light on for me ;)

My room card had to be reset almost every day, but again, the staff was wonderful and never blamed me lol

We were delighted with our stay here for two nights. The accommodation exceeded expectations; very comfortable bed, lovely pristine bed linen and towels, huge fridge, dinnerware, silverware, etc., indeed, everything one could have wanted for a stay of a couple of nights or even more. The lady receptionist at check-in was kind, welcoming, and efficient. Just what you need after a long day on the road. Also, she was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction for nearby restaurants. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends and family.

An extra dining-style chair.

I really enjoyed the room and the bed was the best!! One of those you don't want to get out of. They have a room to get snacks and drinks. I will stay there anytime I am in the Austin area.

I really don't have any complaints. Everything was up to my standards.

i didn’t know that the property would be that small, the location of it was kinda sucky, I wished there was more thing around, we had to drive 20 minutes to get to a grocery store

everything was great! great little suit with a kitchenette area. had a stovetop microwave dish washer full fridge/freezer and sink. along with several dishes. had shampoo conditioner and body was in whole containers on the shower wall which was really nice. at check in Kathy saw my last name and started singing “I’m sorry miss jackson, i am for real” made my night!

Staff was friendly. The room was clean and spacious. It had amenities most suites don't like silverware, cookware. Was quiet and comfortable.

The price has gone up since I stayed there.

It was nice experience from beginning to end it is definitely a long term stay hotel with pots, pans, plates, glasses and a large fridge the bed was comfortable. The check in was nice and smooth. Overall excellent experience.

The lack of continental breakfast but it is not a deal breaker or anything it was a good stay.

Nice size room, clean, huge bathroom, nice kitchen area with appliances.

The noise. You could hear everything from people running water or doing something on their kitchen counter next door but the worst was the highway noise, it was bad. Put people on the other side, away from highway 35 that is right by the hotel.
