Lone Star Inn Vernon0

This is an older motel, but the room was big and clean. The king size beds were comfortable. It was easy to get to from the highway, Vernon is a little town. We walked to a Vietnamese Restaurant next door and the food and service was nice and quick.

We would have liked more outlets, and a lamp on each side of the beds instead of just one in the middle. Some hotels have outlets on their lamps and that is handy. The breakfast room was locked the next morning. My husband later asked the owner about it and he said they were up late the night before, so we should have knocked. The breakfast would have been continental style.

I love the size of the room. The staff was ice especially Tammy! Thanks for everything a kind voice in my time of need.

Check out at 11, but that is standard everywhere!

I liked the location. I also liked the size of the room we stayed in.

Beds were not as comfortable as I would like. Bathroom shower tub was weak and I was afraid it would break.

The location was right where we needed a place. The room was extremely spacious, the beds were comfortable. One of the great touches was having 3 pillows on each bed. But they weren't identical pillows - there was a mix of firm and soft, so we could find a pillow that suited each of us! The owner/manager (?) was very attentive and made sure we didn't need anything.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the sheets were spotlessly clean. I just wish they had been softer.

I loved the spacious room and comfortable beds we got. I particularly liked the decor and layout of the room. I loved that place.

We arrived at 3 in the morning and had to wait for quite a while to get checked in. There was only one guess ahead of us, but still it took a long time for us to get checked in.

This is our go to place when we travel to Dallas. It's our half-way to Our destination when traveling. Easy access to gas, food and necessities. The property is right of the highway on Our way so it's convenient for us .

The room was spacious and very clean. I will be staying there the next time I visit Vernon, Texas. I felt very safe, secure, and well taken care of. Impressive Lone Star. Thank you.

Everything was more than I expected.

For a motel on the side of the road, the place was very nice. Nice bathroom with hot (for real) shower, clean room, quiet and good tv. The front desk was accomodating

Not much to not like. The place is in Vernon on the side of the road. The fact that nearby McDonalds mocha machine was broken maybe? :)

The room was big and clean, and they had a smoking room for my cousin.

The stairs leading up to the room were steep.

Location was excellent. Coffee was good.

The breakfast was not as we were told. Very skimpy. Coffee was very good but was out of waffles, biscuits and sausage by 7:30. Carpet needs to be cleaned.
