Hampton Inn By Hilton Tappahannock

The Location was good. Breakfast was above average for a complimentary breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was high quality.

The TV was NOT on a swivel so could not be turned to watch the set either from the bed or the couch. They need to correct this. The lighting in the room could have been better. It would have been nice if there were paper and pen to write with in the room. There could have been more storage space to put clothes in. There was no closet.

This beautiful new Hampton Inn exceeded my expectations. I have been looking forward to staying there since they opened and everything was very nice.

The only thing I could say was about the shower water it was not hot enough and the water pressure went up and down however the did not disturb my stay at all.

Location - We needed a place close to a family reunion and Tappahanock was within 20 minutes.

They are not pet friendly. There was no yogurt at breakfast. They need more staff at breakfast. They ran out of 2% milk and were out of sugar and cups at the coffee station in the breakfast area. We went to the lobby and found these items.

The facility was really clean and nice! Breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed my time.

There were 3 of us in our room, when we took showers by the time 3rd person took shower the water was kinda cold. It was disappointing that a great hotel couldn't Handle 3 showers not even one after another. The only thing I didn't like, but it's a big one not to have a hot shower.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The facility was clean, inviting, and newly renovated. We particulary loved the large smart tv greeting us in our room. We plan to stay again soon!

Aldean the clerk was really helpful & kind and professional. He should be recognized for going out of his way to help us with dinner recommendations and other problem solving.

Rooms and bed were nice. Breakfast was delicious.

Pool was not heated at all it was freezing. Also entirely too much chlorine. Also could use some new pillows in the rooms.

Clean facilities, friendly staff. Really good breakfast. Comfortable beds, but the pillows need an upgrade. Conveniently located near restaurants.

We stayed Friday until Saturday. They must have been doing construction on the floor above us. We could here banging and shuffling around until midnight. Then it started again Saturday morning.

The room was spacious and clean. The front desk staff was very welcoming. The breakfast was good. The breakfast staff was good as well

I really enjoyed how clean the hotel was and the proximity to the event I was there for.

Honestly, they only thing I didn’t like was how hard the beds were. I know that’s something there is no control over, but it felt like I was sleeping in a rock.
