Great customer service, friendly people, nice hot whirlpool a plus. Not too loud with children. Easily accessible and with a good location across from Chequemegon Bay. Nice smoke are, great coffee. Location is major key here, close to Bayfield, Apostle Island Tours, and only 30 min away. The Bay area is beautiful. Convenient store close, and not to far from Copper Waterfall. Kayaking is an option, remember though, this is a small town if you plan to eat dinner, then plan before 9 pm, otherwise you are limited on fast food .

Danelle at the front desk was super. The hot tub is small (1-4 people) but not much used and working great 👍. The location is excellent right on the Lake Superior shore road, with lovely views. The hotel is MUCH better than a normal Super 8 with rocking wifi and very clean AAA class rooms, medium size. Fridge microwave, very very comfy stay. Trust the quality. Walmart nearby.

Pool area was a bit small. Breakfast very basic. They are having issues with Spectrum cable boxes (8/21) and they are being all replaced by this year, but most are fine.

a younger man employee was working in front and he was rmthe most politest person and most helpful from the beginning we arrived. Very calm, patience and smiles was the best. We had to leave earlier then expected and the checkout lady in the am on sunday was also very awesome and sweet.

It was great. Just that the older woman working the breakfast area on friday morning was upset seemed frustrated and did not smile. On phone alot. Older blond lady.

The hotel is older and a little tired, but the rooms were quite updated and overall the public spaces were clean. It was pricey for what it is but then it's the high season and we were late in booking.

Eliminate styro and plastic cutlery at breakfast. Use proper plates and silverware, Eliminate pre-packaged cereal bowls. So much waste involved in having just a piece of toast! A nicer breakfast room would be good too. I felt like we had to eat in the employee lounge or snack room. Uninspiring.

Breakfast was so so. Boiled eggs, yogurt and a waffle maker. Some applesauce and diced fruit. Juice and coffee. No hot entrees or extra toast or pastries. Having to carry everything to a separate breakfast room was a little awkward. Beds are comfortable.

The cleanliness and friendly staff. Breakfast was out promptly and they kept restocking when getting low.

Lack of towels for showering and bathroom hand no handrails at all. My neice fell and hurt her back. Hard to get up from the toilet as well. Nothing there to grab. Also parking by entrance doors on the side of the building for parking needs to have handicapped parking available and a ramp would be nice.

The staff when we were there were very helpful. Also the rooms were very clean.

I was told there were no rooms available on the top floor with a lake view on the phone when I called the morning before we arrived, but when we got there, there was no one on the top floor facing the lake, so I asked to switch rooms the second night, and that nice front desk lady said there were plenty available and of course we could move. So we enjoyed the second day's stay much more than the first. Also some of the lights in the room didn't work.

Location was everything with access to Northern Great Lakes Visitor's Center under 2 miles away... Upon driving to Super 8 check-in there's a close up parking for veteran's who have served with ease of the front office. Staff was excellent, professionally accommodating.

The rooms were clean. We enjoyed the pool. Fit our needs perfectly.

The rate was a bit high for us. There was an event in a near by town that we were attending and that could have raised the prices.

The staff were wonderful. I have two "bad " knees and hadn't anticipated the low toilet with no grab bar , sink or vanity to help me up. Ended up goingto the handicapped toilet by the pool. Consider changing out a few of the low toilets for the higher ones since you don't offer a handicapped room. Talked to management about finding two fire doors (by stairways) propped open. Very dangerous in a fire. Smoke would be a problem between floors. They accepted by suggestion not to do that. Hope they followed through. Jane Baltes
