This is an older family-owned motel. It was clean, quiet and a good value. There were a couple of items that needed to be addressed in the room (such as a light bulb out), but they were very responsive. The room was large and the beds were comfortable. I thought the sheets were unusually soft! The AC was cold. The breakfast was better than expected...scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, a waffle maker, hot oatmeal with toppings, plus the usual cold cereal, yogurt, bread and pastries.

The bathtub didn't have a plug and the rubber mat needed to be changed (Room 205). There was coffee in the room but no tea. Including a couple of black tea bags would have been nice. Also, the tea in the breakfast room was only herbal. Black tea there too would be appreciated. The AC was a bit loud and it wasn't until morning that we realized we could adjust the vent so it didn't blow on us all night.

Location excellent. Breakfast had a lot of choices. Seemed quiet enough. Large bathrooms.

First night, stained sheet. Eggs a little watery. Parking is tight and guests park in front of my door. Two controllers to make TV work right.

The breakfast was excellent with waffles, eggs, sausage, pancakes, oatmeal, pastries, toast, yogurt, and more. The water pressure on the shower was amazing.

The property is dated and could use some updates, but overall our stay was good.

I was happy with the availability of a "do it yourself" breakfast and the items that were provided in the breakfast room...eggs, a waffle maker, some sausage links, cereals, juice, etc....pretty much the standard fare but actually more than I expected of a lower-price motel.

No complaints in any regard for the price paid, as compared with other similar motels I stayed at during a cross-country trip when wanting comfortable lodging at the lowest price I could find in each location. For what I can recall, this property had the best room of the bunch and although it still showed its age in places, that was insignificant to me given the cleanliness and comfort of the room, with everything in working order. Moreover, the price was among the lowest of all properties where I stayed and more reflective of what I considered appropriate for a budget motel.

Breakfast was good and varied. The property was nice and well kept. The parking lot was nice and fit the needed number of cars.

The lamps were all unplugged when I got to the room. I had to move the bed to plug them in.

A/C worked and was great "white noise" I didn't even hear the rain. Location was close to town and the High School where my bike event started. Plenty of space in the room. Water was hot and had good pressure.

For the price I paid I honestly did not expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised. These guys really try to make that old hotel work. Breakfast was great too!

The gal at the front desk is amazing. She found me a room when there was nine left in town even though I had an online reservation. She kept composure with the bad news and when someone canceled their reservation she handed it right to me. She was also responsible for getting my room ready, when staff was light, roads were closed, and people’s tempers were short. Employees like toys are hard to find!

dusty concrete everywhere from an active remodel (chiseling off lava rock facia was in processs)

Nice rooms, convenient location, good breakfast and very helpful staff (when coffeepot broke and TV lost signal)
