This is a lovely hotel with rooms set around a courtyard/garden area. The hotel is a few minutes off the main Registan street, not far to walk to the main sights, and very quiet. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our flight arrived at 5.10 am and we were met by the hotel's driver, and taken quickly to the hotel where check-in was done very quickly so we could catch up on some sleep. The room was a good size with comfy beds and easy chairs so we didn't have to sit on the bed. The bathroom was a good size and well equipped. Breakfast was plentiful with a good variety of options. Altogether an excellent experience.

The location was safe and excellent .We were 2 women travelling independently. It was about a 5 to 10 minutes walk to the Registan .Ayush at the hotel was of excellent assistance.. He booked our train tickets to Samarkand and was very good at ensuring that we did not lack for anything. Room was good and with access to English speaking channels on the TV. Some eating places on the street but we booked taxis through the local uber to get around .One great restaurant we would recommend is Boulevard restaurant and bakery.

The property is very well located. It’s within walking distance from Registan square, and some nice restaurants. It’s a family run property, and they are very helpful. We interacted with two brothers, Bek and Zafar. Both are wonderful. Breakfast is wholesome with many options.

There’s nothing to dislike. However it would be nice if they could keep powdered milk and sugar sachets along with the tea service in the room. This actually a personal preference as we like our morning tea with milk and sugar

Great location, walking distance to the Registan and with great local restaurants nearby Beautiful garden in the middle Quiet room and vicinity Huge room and bathroom. This was the biggest room I had during my trip to Uzbekistan Great breakfast Could book tours etc, through the front desk. I'd already booked everything before hand so I didn't need to use this, but it would have been handy if I hadn't Front desk and staff were really helpful

I really can't find anything to fault this place

It was quite close to the Registan and all our days ended passing by the Registan. The room was large and well equipped. The staff was great and very helpful, especially Asrod who by the way speaks quite good English. That facilitated easy communication. Breakfast time was set 8-10 a.m. Our train departed early so we would have missed the breakfast. Asrod arrange for us and another family breafast by 7:10. It was a great gesture and our tommies liked it also.

We stayed at both Jahongir hotels. While this one doesn't have the atmosphere of the original Jahongir, it is more luxurious in terms of the room decor and fittings. The same staff run both hotels and were extremely helpful. Same great location very close to registan. Location and rooms were quiet. Overall a fantastic stay

Nothing major, as mentioned the hotel didn't have the same atmosphere or old school vibe as the original but it made up for it in luxury and comfort. The hotel did book us a trip to Shakhrisabz. Unfortunately the car AC wasn't working and it was a hot day. I was with older parents. The hotel should consider this and ensure that it doesn't happen again.

We arrived in the aftermoon and were pleasantly escorted to our room after passport scans. Staff were great. Non-invasive, pleasant, respectful, etc... With our limited Turkish and their limited English we were able to communicate quite easily. Room was clean, bed comfortable, room warm and cozy. Shower pressure was good, bathroom & towels clean. Location was fantastic. Maybe a 10.minute walk to the Rogistan square and assembly. Breakfast was delicious. One thing i did appreciate is the fact that they make the food items in batches. That is, they make 4 poaches eggs for example, put them into the serving basin, 10 minutes later another 4 come in, and then another, so on and so forth. This makes for hot eggs every time someone comes in for breakfast and limits food waste (which is awesome)

Nothing really... Even the morning walk from the hotel to the square was through the old city streets which are very "real" and reminded me of my own street back home before all the crapy concrete 4+story builidngs started taking the place of small familiar family homes.

The hotel is a short walk from the Registan. Most of the sights are a walking distance except for the Museum where we needed to take a taxi. The rooms are rather small but tastefully decorated and very clean. The staff are very helpful.

The wifi was pretty slow and the breakfast could be a little better (including the service - when the jug of milk gets empty you actually need to go and ask them for a refill, hmm? it happened 3 mornings in a row..) During our stay there was a big group with children that made some noise - because all rooms face the courtyard it can get noisy.

A very good hotel just a ten minute walk away from the Registan square (the very center of historic Samarkand). A beautiful traditional courtyard. It was too hot when we were there but I imagine it is a great place to lounge when the weather is nicer. The rooms are pleasant, the AC is working well (important in the summer), the breakfast is very good. It seemed like a family owned hotel and everyone was very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Again the staff make the stay so pleasant. They could not be more helpful. They ordered taxis for us and even told us the price before we left on a journey. The booked a train ticket for us. The breakfasts were so plentiful with everything you could want from eggs, cold meats and cheeses to halva and little cakes etc, juice and coffee etc. Plenty to keep one going for sightseeing in this wonderful city of Samarkand.
